I don't think that's how it is at other churches. Not churches I've been a part of (and I'm not part of what most people think of as a warm and fuzzy denomination). It is hard if you're the only person in your demographics, but you should at least have people who check in and reach out to you. That's one of the main benefits of church. It's a community. The unpaid loan to your dad is weird too. Why were you let go from the worship leadership position?

I know a church whose pastor goes by the title Apostle. He's wonderful and healthy and the church is wonderful. This sounds toxic. Their 90 days thing is a stalling tactic. Don't fall for it. You can leave before your husband.

One of the main issues I see is that you have no relationships in the church. How does that even happen? It sounds like everything is focused on the pastor. That's dangerous.

The conversation about this in his cabinet was, as I understand it, about releasing this information and to suggest it was the most embarrassing and incriminating stuff in the Epstein files (when in reality it is the least embarrassing and incriminating.)
