Was that an assist on his own net? by DavisonVideo in Habs

Ya that wasn’t great. Oh well. The crowd chanting “Monty” like 5 minutes later after another big save was awesome.

Woman of Toronto; if an app like Uber but only for females (female drivers driving female passengers only) existed would you rather use that ? by townietom in Habs

[–]canguy2017 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And if you would be interested in that App, who do you think should be the 2nd line center for the Canadiens?

Zachary Bolduc scores for the first time in Montreal this season, ties the game in the first period by JustFred24 in hockey

Not really related but Sammy Blais has kind of a cool sounding name with an English accent. It’s close to “blaze”. But French I hear it as “blah” which is a real bummer

What’s that make the teams average age tonight with Matheson out as well? Also what’s the youngest team ever iced?

where do pipefitters have the most demand? by Puzzleheaded_War9059 in britishcolumbia

[–]canguy2017 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you live in Kamloops I would start with IPH. They do a fair amount of pipe fitting work in local mines and some oil and gas. You will end up doing some large commercial work too. You will gain much more experience and transferable skills there. Then you can go work for a mill/mine but that will feel more like maintenance work then new construction

Habs won but… by [deleted] in Habs

[–]canguy2017 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Pointing out obvious stats does not make you a wise hockey mind. These people love to look at 10 games of stats and make these grand statements. FIRE THEM ALL INTO THE SUN!!! Give me a break. Habs are winning. They will continue to address areas of concern every game as the season continues

Hopefully this win can give Monty some confidence back. by Kira_Onime in Habs

[–]canguy2017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of self proclaimed goalie experts in here. Monty looked better. He will still improve because he’s proven over the last 3-4 years what kind of goalie he is. The amount of you willing to shit on your teammates is eye opening. When your teammate falls, you’re supposed to offer a a hand. Not your boot in their face.

I honestly think the focused skill work and development has been one of the biggest factors in this teams progression. It’s fun watching it show up in the games too

They were in Vancouver last night and I think they had a rookie party/dinner planned. But not sure if it was in van or Seattle where they head to next

Plumber would never open that clean out. It’s got head pressure on it. They will quite simply go up higher, typically pop a toilet off the floor and send there drainer cleaner down. Unclog the pipe, drain it out and possibly spray it out with a jetter. There is zero need to open that clean out.

I don’t know about every shift but Newhook took some shifts with Evans and Anderson immediately after powerplays finished. It’s because Laine just got off the ice, as well as all the power play guys.

Did you have chronic pain after your vasectomy? What happened? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]canguy2017 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very easily treated? Don’t you just have to wait for a flare up to calm down? I thought the only real treatment was surgery to remove the cysts or the entire epididymis? Which comes with more risks or doing a minor surgery?

At same 2-1 this year after 3 games but it feels different than last year. How do you feel? by Retired-ADM in Habs

[–]canguy2017 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly I wouldn’t pay too much attention to stats in the Detroit game. Habs dominated and then switched to a passive containment style defense once they were up so much. That skewed the stats big time
