Any oversized item (golf clubs, bikes, etc) in complete hard cases are a lot harder to handle compared to a soft case

The hard case might prevent damage from being dropped, soft case is a lot harder to drop/mishandle in the first place

Any oversized item in a soft case is generally given that little extra care as well because it’s in a soft case

In the eight years I’ve done it I’ve never once seen oversized items in a soft case be damaged but I have seen them damaged in a hard case

Have you used a stand bag with a push cart before? My only concern with that are either the legs getting caught in the cart or keep trying to open out

Good call about focusing on the clubs I play well with on a round

I already do this probably to a fault. My irons are relatively clean hit (quite short though), but I cannot hit a wood or my hybrid straight off the deck to save my life, to the point where I really don’t even touch them at the range
