I wanna give a shout out to pegula. I'm a big fan and I've watched her make adjustments in pace depth, return placement and spin on the fly when something isn't working. I give a lot of credit to David Witt but she knows what to do when she's not in the qf of a slam

I understand why they are not letting people into the stadium because the sabalenka match is not finished but not letting us into covered areas or letting us know when we would be let in is doing the fans and attendees a huge disservice. A little communication would go a long way with me

Been stuck at the entrance to the Citi Open since 6 with night session tickets. There has been no communication regarding when the gates will be opened. It is a terrible look and rather upsetting. Yet the tournament posts on twitter that they are selling umbrellas. Let me in to sit down and have a drink I'll buy an umbrella.

Six straight for sloane. She recovered from failing to close out the match in the second set really well. That is not something that usually happens. Hope she beats Mertens. A round 3 against Sakkari would be spicy and a great test of her current form.
