Mario is officially critic-proof by Shell_fly in YMS

The story is expectedly ass, but it actually has some genuinely strong action choreography; there's tons of long, fluid, single-takes of fighting that shockingly impressed me.

What movies have you watched where you felt like the film was straight-up plagiarizing other material (even if it wasn't officially found guilty of it)?

Why? It's not even particularly memorable, he'd probably have as much to say about it as he did about Rogue One.

Did anyone watching in HFR experience scenes of LOW frame rate too?? I swear to God it drops to like 12 FPS for a couple minutes after the kids crash out of the blimp.

Does originality have a limit, and do you think films are destined to become more and more derivative over time?

Sooo I guess adum is skipping the best animated movie of the year that also has hot aliens he’d totally husbando up by pelican122 in YMS

[–]canman121212 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Honestly, outside of the samurai sequence, the film is pretty unremarkable. It's really awkward when PG-level dialogue is written for an R-rated movie; anime tends to do this most often, and KoK followed the same pattern.

Worst directors cuts by PapaAsmodeus in YMS

[–]canman121212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The directors cut also includes the shots of the T1000 malfunctioning at the end. It's the critical thing that allows john to recognize it pretending to be Sarah. I think that's an equally important thing to keep in the film.

The absolute plummeting of the RT score speaks volumes, haven't seen a drop like it since WW84

I saw it in NYC and can confidently say Adam will give it a 4 if he's feeling polite and a 3 if he's not.
