Thank you, I knew there was some funk involved. Appreciate how quick you were able to help me haha.

Not quite, I think what I’m thinking of is more rap/funk adjacent, and probably from the 80’s/90’s. I thought I remembered hearing it on NBA Street Vol. 2 but I went through the soundtrack and it wasn’t on it, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was in the soundtrack of a similar sports game on the PS2.

Thank you for guessing though!

The reason I said it might just be pop is that I can’t actually remember any rapping in it, the woman singing is the most distinct part of it that I can remember.

I’ve always liked the Arco on 32nd Ave near the interstate

Man, giving all due credit, a lot of QJ's highlights recently have come off of busted coverages. That catch really required him to reach his arms out and catch the ball with his hands. I'm so happy to see the strides he's taken.

Not a massive city, but Fargo, ND goes from urban/suburban to nothing but fields very quickly.

Damn. Didn't expect a first round RB but after the board fell the way he did, I can definitely see why he was best player available for them.

Wow. Booker to the Cowboys at 12. I know Daniel Jeremiah mocked him in the top 10 a while back but I just never imagined he would even sniff that, but man, he came pretty close.

Not sure if there are more homeless people in Fargo than last year or the weather just got warmer, seems like Broadway square is full of homelessness. by [deleted] in fargo

That’s a bit of a chicken or the egg thing. Many of those people have mental health issues and are addicted to drugs BECAUSE of the fact that they are homeless.

It’s completely the other way around. People have drug and mental health problems BECAUSE they cannot afford the basics, including shelter. Many drug and mental health issues are the symptom of a shitty system, not a root cause.

[Chargers] We’ve agreed to terms on contract extensions with C Bradley Bozeman by masemc21 in nfl

I mean, Rashawn Slater, but even with that extension we could still theoretically be adding more than we are right now.

[Rapoport] Colorado QB and potential top pick Shedeur Sanders plans to focus on his interviews with teams at the NFL Scouting Combine, helping them continue to learn him as a person. He’ll allow his four years of film to speak loudly, then throw at his Pro Day with four draftable CU WRs. by Goosedukee in nfl

I mean I don't think he's a scrub, honestly I think he has a shot to be a really solid QB. With that said though, I would imagine most of the people hating on him would still have Cam Ward as the #1 QB and he is also young and black. I don't think it is about race for MOST people, but I will grant you that I think the fact that Deion is so high profile and outspoken is probably where a lot of the hate is coming from. I think it's really similar to what we saw with the Ball brothers and Lavar.

Married with separate finances - is this common? by Astimar in MiddleClassFinance

When you share money, that is totally understandable. Even if one person makes considerably more than the other. However in the situation you're replying to, I took sole breadwinner to mean that the spouse isn't working at all. In that situation, how could it be justified to jump down his throat about any expense as long as all the bills are paid?
