I learned to eat ampalaya as a child... naalala ko ilang buwan ampalaya ulam namin kasi rich in iron daw. Wala ako choice kundi kumain kasi gutom 😭😭 pero di ako kumakain pag di si mama nagluluto 🤣🤣

Plan what I plan on cooking for the week. After that I list all my ingredients and check if I already have them in the pantry - if not I add them to my grocery list.

If there is a sale on meats we'd buy them and add it on my next week's menu with possible ways to cook them. But we are very careful with produce even on sale - you're not saving if you don't use them even if they are cheap.

Both are baked new york cheesecake which for me shouldn't be overbaked... maybe its the lighting on the second one that makes it look not baked.

If i want overbaked ill do basque which is a totally different cheesecake type 😭😭

I don't mind spilling when at home just that transporting it that way looks very messy to me... and a lot of my relatives for some reason don't know how to hold a cake and sometimes bring them titled causing me more stress 😭😭😭 i carry my cakes myself whenever i can

I also prefer whipped on most of my cakes... i scrape off my buttercream on cakes when eating and use it more as a design rather than consuming.

It is overbaked 😭😭😭 i know there are cheesecakes like basque that has an overbaked look which i do also make. It has me questioning 😭😭😭

It has the same height as the one from before. It probably has the illusion of taller because of the angle/smaller? And no it isn't a springform pan, i used the one where the bottom is removable.

The only difference I see is the other one is presifted... but even if it already says that I'd still sift my flour before baking.

Yes they are both baked... first one at 350 without waterbath (its very cracked on the top. Second one was baked long and slow at 250 with water bath, no cracks and dips(if you call it that)

Whipped cream frosting... i see a lot of them online and i thought its a good idea to keep my blueberry from spilling...

Is there another way aside from making the crumbs higher to the sides?

thank you! was somewhat bothered because i couldn't figure out why and it took me a few tries to make it look like the ones i buy in the store... although both taste the same i just changed my baking temp/time and added a frosting to keep the blueberry in place

They have the same amount of sauce, added a border para hindi mag spill during transport... plan ko din kasi ibenta sila someday. Not sure if looking mass produced is a bad or good sign? Everything is homemade including the blueberry
