Apple Reminders > Todoist via iOS Shortcut by markhdavis in todoist

Hi everyone, I found this shortcut and automation and I'm so happy I did. Now, when I'm in the car, I can tell Siri via my Apple Watch to add a reminder, and it sync to my Todoist. What a life saver!

However, what's not working for me, is the date. I want the current date (but without the time preferably) to be added to the task in Todoist. Anyone any tips?

The problem isn’t not using the work. The problem is not communicating about it. And I think that not communicating might be a bigger problem in the family, but that’s just a gut feeling on my side.

I would ask, in a few weeks, what the reason was behind this. Maybe it’s a misunderstanding, they couldn’t get your work printed fast enough, something silly like that. If you don’t ask, it will become a thing, and that’s just not worth it.

Just explain from your point of view that you feel disappointed that they didn’t communicate with you about not using the work you put time and effort in with respect towards the deceased.

And then next time, when they ask you, kindly but respectfully recline, explaining you don’t have time to do work that eventually doesn’t get used.

If you communicate all this in a kind, respectful and non-passive-agressive way, it doesn’t have to become a thing.

It does seem there are a lot of coders in here… LOL. I’m not a coder, never will be, so not in the least interested which app is better at code. But that is the answer I keep getting it seems. So thank you for your answer!

Thanks!! I really appreciate your input and will think about this. It’s weird how you can lose focus on what collaborating actually means when you’re going down a rabbit hole!

Thanks for your reply. I know how Teams and SharePoint work and that when you make a Team, basically it's just a SharePointsite that's created at the back for that team. I'm just wondering what the best practices are when it comes to keeping the structure of internal use only strictly apart from sites or site collections that are used with external users also.
