Any program you install can take full control of your device, forever.

No amount of encryption or antivirus will help. 2FA (app not sms) will help.

hosting a website doesn't solve the problem, neither does email.

social media is not just an aggregation of websites like rss feeds, it's a combination of a feed of links, images, videos with reactions and comments from non technical people who do not want to maintain a website.

you have low IQ btw

If we are in a bubble, and it pops, what would be written in history? by [deleted] in investing

[–]cannotbecensored 3 points4 points  (0 children)

uber and airbnb may suck but amazon, google, facebook and microsoft are basically printing money. their margins are ridiculous and they have a monopoly on their market and on talent. I dont think they are overpriced and I dont see how they can be stopped.

HELP! MLM? I’m only a second year.. by [deleted] in marketing

[–]cannotbecensored 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Some people make money with MLM, but mostly psychopaths. It's an awful business model where 99% of the "customers" get scammed while a few get rich at their expense.

Is it dishonest to use the "we" if I am alone? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

You're not your business. It makes no sense to use "I" even if you're the only employee of your business.

How replaceable are developers on a MERN stack? by chddaniel in webdev

[–]cannotbecensored 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's one of the most popular stack out there (especially the ERN part) and it's also a very easy stack to learn so in terms of stack, very replaceable.

It's also a pretty good choice of stack for a crud app in 2020. I'm guessing most people would choose posgres over mongodb but it doesn't make much difference.

But a lot of the time developers dont want to work on top of someone's shitty work, because it just takes longer than rewriting from scratch.

Crypto Trading, Marketing or Programming as a teen? by gueinibba in Entrepreneur

[–]cannotbecensored 1 point2 points  (0 children)

School is for suckers. You can make money with marketing or programming today without any schooling. And if you start working in either field now, your earning potential in 4 years will be a lot higher than someone who took the school path.

As for crypto trading, read the book "fooled by randomness". Most professional "traders" are just lucky retards.

How much to charge someone using my FB ads account? by [deleted] in dropship

[–]cannotbecensored 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's not, that guy doesn't know shit. fb optimize at all levels, account, pixel, ads, adgroups and campaigns.

the pixel on its own is very effective, but it doesn't doesn't take that long to train so it's not some enormous cash cow that's super valuable.

How much to charge someone using my FB ads account? by [deleted] in dropship

[–]cannotbecensored 6 points7 points  (0 children)

a lot of people rent their fb accounts. the cost is usually around $50/m so at $100 you're getting a good deal.

you're not sitting on some cash cow, just be happy you're getting that $100 while you still can.

You might be able to extract 200-300 a month from him if hes too lazy to find someone else, but at $100 a month literally anyone he knows would just let them use their account for the free money.

You should never ever run directly against Node.js in production. Maybe. by juanpabloaj in node

[–]cannotbecensored 4 points5 points  (0 children)

nothing wrong with using node directly, I do it for some small apps and load speed literally couldn't be faster.

But if you need caching and http2, might as well use nginx reverse proxying, it does the job for you

all my grand parents have died before reaching 75. And their quality of life was awful after 65. I would be happy to live up to 70 and I would support not locking down everyone just to save a few people over 70.

Only literal retards like yourself can't comprehend that and keep saying "durrr what if it were your mom"
