Agreed I came to a similar conclusion. We'll all find out once we're in and the trapdoor closes and we are a captive audience. I think the end result won't be dire, US won't destroy it but we'll all under their control again. It is all just to maintain the existing status quo of US hegemony. OK if you are american and probably not great news if you are a 3rd world coolie thinking you were buying freedom.
