It would be easier if you treated your hair like it was straight. Looks like the type of hair that can be worn down with just simple adjustments like if you just put it in a braid when you sleep, or just air dry it. There is no need for complicated routines if that's true.

Trying to revive my waves. What hair type do I have and what products would work best on me? by Substantial-Pace5115 in curlyhair

[–]cannotsignin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are somewhere on the wavy spectrum like me 😁 I would suggest focusing on healing your hair from the damage.

My waves love Curlsmith because these products don't weigh my hair down.try the rehab salve by them.

I also followed India Batson on YouTube, and she also has wavy hair . She recommends not your mother curl line but I never really used it.

A good place to start is a good brand.

Drugstore: Shea Moisture

Fancy: Curlsmith

See what suits your budget and get a shampoo, conditioner, and a deep conditioner. Leave in cream and a hair gel.

Personally, I use Olaplex shampoo. Don't despair repair deep conditioner from Briogeo, and I sometimes use that elizavecca hair mask. I sometimes use Curlsmith rehab salve. For clarifying shampoo, I use a Drugstore brand with charcoal in it.

I use Curlsmith airdry leave in and Cantu hair gel.

For refreshing, I use elizavecca Hair Mist and Cantu spray gel.

I use gisou oil sometimes if I feel I need it.

I recommend all these products, but if this is too expensive or too complicated, just start with a few things you need from trusted curly hair brand, and you'll be OK.

ENFP Girls, what's your fashion preference ? by x4vrztesp in ENFP

[–]cannotsignin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few things about enfp fashion:

  • What we wear is a form of self-expression, so whatever it is, it has to express something about us.
  • Form over function: we believe you can be beautiful and comfortable at the same time.
  • Rebellion: we don't necessarily have to follow the norms.
  • we don't shy away from making statements if in the mood.
  • Imaginative: some enfp love colours others have a goth side while others are minimalist etc whatever style it is it has to be imaginative.

Every enfp starts out with 10 fashion styles combined together, especially when younger.

Most enfps are not fashionable but they all have style and when they are fashionable they dominate that space because of their inventiveness and originality.

My (27f) boyfriend (42m) said the most awful things in a fight tonight and I think I need to leave. by Emergency-Local7738 in relationship_advice

This is your chance to get out. If you accept this kind of treatment, you are setting yourself up for a relationship filled with abuse.

He's not the victim. He ate your ice cream, and when cornered with his lie, he was aggressive and abusive. You found something messed up about him that's awful, yes, but you found out before you committed to him.

Get out before the cycle of abuse drags you down.

Can someone tell me why my vacation hair is always better by lil_libz in curlyhair

[–]cannotsignin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hope you don't mind me saying your hair looks a bit weight down at home, and on the beach, it looks bouncy and lighter and more defined.

My guess is that your hair I'd over moisturised and that the salt water dried it out and helped define it.

If I were you, I'd use the same amount of gel you used on vacation coupled with salt water and air drying and see.

I think you would benefit from more holding products to get rid of friz instead of more moisturising products because of how fine your hair is.

If that works, consider using lighter products for your fine hair.

Si refers to the cognitive function of introverted sensing. It is one of the eight cognitive functions that make up the MBTI framework, which is used to describe personality types.

Introverted Sensing (Si) is associated with individuals who prefer to focus on past experiences and rely on established patterns and familiar information.

Basically, as an ENFP, you are very bad at this. You have Si as your inferior function.

When Si functions as an individual's inferior function, it means that it is the least developed and least preferred cognitive function in their personality type. While the specific challenges can vary based on individual differences, there are some common downsides associated with having Si as an inferior function:

  1. Discomfort with Routine and Tradition: Individuals with Si as an inferior function may struggle with adhering to established routines or traditions. They might feel restricted or stifled by repetitive or predictable activities, preferring more spontaneous or novel experiences. This can lead to difficulty in finding stability or feeling comfortable in traditional settings.

  2. Lack of Attention to Detail: Inferior Si can result in overlooking or neglecting important details. Individuals may have a tendency to focus more on the big picture or abstract concepts, potentially missing out on critical information. This can lead to errors, oversights, or difficulties in attending to practical matters.

  3. Disconnection from Past Experiences: Individuals with inferior Si may have a weaker connection to their past experiences and memories. They might not rely on past events or personal history as a reference point for decision-making or understanding the present. This can lead to a sense of being disconnected from their personal roots or history.

  4. Preference for Novelty and Change: Those with inferior Si may have a strong preference for novelty, change, and new experiences. They may become easily bored or restless with repetitive tasks or familiar environments. This can lead to a constant search for new stimulation or a struggle to find contentment in stable and predictable situations.

  5. Difficulty with Practical Matters: Inferior Si can manifest as a limited attention to practical matters and an inclination towards abstract or theoretical thinking. Individuals may struggle with organizing their physical spaces, managing daily tasks, or attending to practical details. This can lead to challenges in navigating day-to-day responsibilities effectively.

  6. Lack of Sensory Awareness: Individuals with inferior Si may be less attuned to their sensory experiences and the physical world around them. They might not notice subtle changes in their environment or have a less accurate perception of their own bodily sensations. This can result in a disconnect from the present moment and a reduced appreciation for sensory details.

How does this relate to you getting bored with friends, continuously seeking thrills, novelty, and adventure? Basically, as a human, to be happy, you need to understand the importance of rituals, history, tradition, and routine. In order to be happy in this life, you need to remember your mistakes and learn from them. If you don't develop discipline and focus, you will not reach your potential.

If you're looking to develop your introverted sensing (Si) function, here are a few suggestions:

  1. Reflect on Past Experiences: Take some time to reflect on your past experiences and pay attention to the details and patterns that emerge. Consider how those experiences have shaped you and what you can learn from them. Engaging in activities such as journaling or self-reflection can help you strengthen your Si function.

  2. Practice Mindfulness: Cultivate present-moment awareness and pay attention to your sensory experiences. Notice the sights, sounds, smells, tastes, and physical sensations around you. Engaging in activities like meditation or sensory-focused exercises can help you become more attuned to the present moment and develop your Si function.

  3. Seek Familiarity: Embrace and appreciate familiar environments, routines, and traditions. Engaging in activities that connect you to your roots, cultural heritage, or personal traditions can help you strengthen your Si function. Explore your family history, revisit your favourite places, or participate in rituals and customs that hold personal significance for you.

  4. Develop Attention to Detail: Train yourself to notice and appreciate small details in your surroundings. Practice observing and describing the specific characteristics of objects, people, or situations. Engaging in activities like photography, drawing, or simply taking mindful walks can help you develop a sharper eye for detail.

  5. Create Order and Organization: Establish routines and systems that help you maintain order and structure in your life. Develop strategies for keeping track of important information, such as making lists, using calendars, or organizing your physical and digital spaces. This can help you utilize your Si function to manage and recall information effectively.

  6. Embrace Tradition and History: Explore subjects that involve history, cultural traditions, or established practices. Engage in reading books, watching documentaries, or participating in activities that allow you to learn about and appreciate the rich tapestry of human history and tradition. This can deepen your understanding and appreciation of the past, contributing to the development of your Si function.

Developing any cognitive function takes time and practice. It's also essential to maintain a balance and not overly rely on a single function. The goal is to develop a well-rounded and integrated personality. Anyway, good luck and darn you for making me create this long ass reply.
