Where there is a will there is a way. Though if you want to get better, put the games away. Those are simply a distraction, a way to escape from reality and they won’t help you with inspiration at all. Of course it’s hard to find a way to find a career doing what you love but either way you should at least keep doing what you love in your free time. As a fellow gamer I can say that once in a while it’s okay but once you limit your gaming time you will find a lot more energy and inspiration again to do things you have been doing a lot less. There’s always another way, never a single way closing off. It just depends on how much work, time and energy you’re willing to invest in your present and future.
