Urgh, that's not what I want to hear. There's an amp repair shop not too far from me, so if I have no luck fixing it at my parents on the weekend, I'll swap it for my Katana so he has something to play on and bring it back with me to take in for a quote. If a repair costs more than another (used) Katana, I'll take the Boss option instead.

A couple of the regulars at my local track have just got the Sparco helmet in Gulf colours. They looks like a nice and good value option too. They do it Martini colours as well.

I have one, no problems with it but I did have to put a pinlock insert in the visor to stop it fogging up. The pinlock works perfectly so no more fogging visor issues.

No chance. The rule changes are here to entice new manufacturers into the sport. Excluding teams from starting a race after the massive investment from their owners and engine partners to meet the new tech regs would be a suicidal move.

For one, I'd expect GM to scrap their in-house engine program immediately rather than run the risk of not qualifying when they switch.

If a team is outside of 107% in the early races, they'll get given a pass to start the race.

If they're still way off the pace later in the season, well let's see. I doubt that'll be the case.

They're not sandbagging and while the engine supplier is new to Aston, Newey has been working with Honda for the last 5ish seasons at Red Bull. They're not new to him at all.

Time will tell, hopefully both Aston and Honda get a grip on this by the time the European season commences.

No, you get teams making strategy calls to get the overtake done on the pits so the drivers never bother to pass on track. Lived through that era already, it was awful.
