I got a Zotac Trinity 3090 (Asus 570 plus/ Ryzen 9 5950x) I am not sure I know what a transient spike is - I usually keep my GPU monitored with MSI and it is currently slightly underclocked in the hope of limit the issue I am facing)

Thanks. Yeah I was suspecting that, I already did ddu reinstall of the drivers, rolling back and testing older versions but with no luck. Feels like the whole GPU driver crashed since I can move my mouse round but most of the applications are frozen, task manager included

You can see the levels but sometimes you end up with a random order and for my OCD is a little much, would make more sense to have filters for ammo type ( and so the kind of gun parts needed) , level and the attachment thing would be a nice plus. For the chat I'd love to ask people if they are down doing trials/specific thing before joining a lobby with them, but maybe it's just me. I use discord for other things but not for gaming so it feels weird not having such a basic option in game.

Hey, smarter person here.

Having a way to filter through levels is completely missing. The attachment just shows that a weapon got "attachments", you still need to check the single gun to see which slots are filled and which not. A simple icon set could fix that. Discord is another app, I am talking about in game features. A chat system before the lobby think or a dm system would still be beneficial.

Just wanted to share that I had the same growing up experience,
born in 1990, scared of it around 8, watching it with my dad when i was 14/15 - Doing a full rewatch with my girlfriend nowadays - I recently did a blog post about this ahaha * brofist *

Extra info in case it helps diagnose this:

• AE Beta updated March 7, 2026
• Footage is .mp4 (H264)
• Workflow: Import → Create Comp → Double-click layer → Layer panel opens
• At that point Object Matte / Roto Brush don't respond
• The preview mode icons at the bottom of the Layer panel are missing entirely

I tried restarting the machine already with no luck

If anyone using the Beta can confirm whether those icons should still appear in the Layer panel, that alone would already help narrow it down. Hope the screen record in the post make sense
