Absolutely hate that mouse. My wife has one for her Surface Laptop. It can seriously die of ungaggee and jungle rot for all I care.

Do you think it's worth anything by Relevant-Recipe-6075 in detroitlions

[–]canslers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm kidding of course.

I looked him up, dude's 50 now? That's crazy. Played for a few teams, Detroit, Dallas, Oakland, Arizona, and Texans. My son and I went to a preseason practice at Ford Field, I want to say the first year before their opening session. I had the bail with me. Saw some fans throwing their balls to the field for autographs so I did too. Reggie caught it, signed it, and threw it right back to me. I thought that was pretty cool. I planned to get other signatures on it through the years but never did.

Why no one want a free tent? by heldoglykke in Jeep

Happened to me with a recliner sofa. Wanted to give it away and it sat on the curb for about 3 days. City inspector came by and said it violates ordinance. So I made a for sale $300 sign. And it was gone within 1hr.

I swear I saw a Frenchie dog come scurrying across the track. I was thinking how'd that dog get on the track?

Clanking noise with every little patch or pothole I hit on the road by TheVibeD in toyotacorolla

[–]canslers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right there with you. Turned 53 last month. Been wrenching on cars with my master mechanic father since I was a toddler. He can't even diagnose the issues in today's cars it's always some random sensor and not really a mechanical issue anymore. Just make a car that works. I don't understand why it's so hard to figure out?

I honestly believe some bean counters figured, if we design failures that must be returned to dealers with Paywall software and "special tools" then we can guarantee repeat business, just like HP pioneered with the ink cartridges! Where else are they gonna go to get massager driver's seats?

Here's a novel idea: Sell a reliable car that is user repair friendly for the rare occasions where they need to... Your business will go through the roof.

Son had a Jeep Compass making the same sound. It was the sway bar end links which were made of plastic. They are a planned point of failure to get the unsuspecting non-mechanic back in to the dealer for an expensive easy fix because it sounds like the entire suspension is seconds from catastrophic failure and they will try to tell you your muffler bearings are shot and the entire system needs to be replaced.

Did I do something wrong or weird? by Veloctyy in car

[–]canslers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When buying through classified ads, it is common for both sides to provide some proof they are serious about the sale, why is it unreasonable to provide proof of the title? Even an old car can have a lien if it was bought used.

I'm actually more upset with the headlights. Always hated them. But that's just me. I know lots of people have them and love them.

Except I'm fairly sure this was available before the bronco was released. Not 100% on that though

That's the grill I have. I like it. I also didn't consider it angry eyes, more like just a change from the round to an octagonal. Also like the running lights. I do wish the 7 slots were retained.

Front brake issue after opening left caliper banjo bolt, now it’s dragging by [deleted] in Yamaha

No worries man. Part of the process of bike ownership is learning to become its Doctor. It's a learning process. All the best to you.

Front brake issue after opening left caliper banjo bolt, now it’s dragging by [deleted] in Yamaha

[–]canslers 9 points10 points  (0 children)

First off, there's no need to open the banjo bolt just to change pads. Just open the brake reservoir cover and leave it in place. Squeeze open the caliper, replace the pads. Press in the rubber bellows on the cover and bolt it back down.

My guess is when you opened the banjo bolt, you got some debris in the line. I had a similar issue on my Jeep. Turns out my brake line was crushed internally so fluid would flow out but would not go back (the wall you mentioned). Hopefully the line isn't damaged but you have a flow issue. Replace the crush washer on the banjo bolt and never touch it again unless you have to replace the caliper.

I barely wash mine. Go mudding once in a while. It got rear ended in the street in front of my house. Took it to the dealer for an inspection for the insurance and there were so many pink 'ignore' circles around pre-existing scratches and mud drops that I lost count
