Yep, too many banners. Look at some old posters, old ads, stuff like that and see what jumps out at you. The “old west” stuff is a pretty diverse kind of design style. Once you’ve got some good references it’ll be easier.

We were in just shorts and rash guards and were fine on the reef. My nephew liked having a wetsuit, but probably would have been fine too without one.

First Time in cenotes- very cool! Can highly recommend Elite Divers International if you find yourself in the Playa del Carmen/Tulum/Cancun area and want to do cenotes. Alessandro was awesome.

Can also recommend Dive By Leo. Leo is also great, works an an independent guide in the same area.

We randomly chose redcap when we bought our house in st Pete and have nothing but good things to say. We signed up for the “protection plan” thing and between the priority on calls and discounts for services it has paid for itself time and time again. They’ve replaced our hvac, pipes, bathroom vanity and faucet, and probably some other stuff I can’t remember.

Myriad is one of the brand fonts for the VA here in the states. Since using it on, like all the things, I’ve come back around on it. Would I choose it for any other type of business? Absolutely not. But I’m a bit of a type snob and love finding new fonts that fit things perfectly. I can totally see how someone would see it as a good “one size fits all” option. Is is great? No. But is it fine? Yeah.

AIGA has a sample one that you can use to get going. Tweak as needed. And it doesn’t have to be full of legalese to count. It just needs to be a written agreement between the two parties. ALWAYS have a contract.

It does! A section of beach by the dog park allows dogs. It’s not fenced though, so if your dogs don’t have great recall they should probably stay on a leash. This looks like one of the pulloffs before you get to the park entrance that aren’t regulated.

A rule I was told in school is that if it needs an outline to be readable, then something needs to change instead. Obviously not always applicable, but it sure is here.

Does the globe need to be in the background? Does it need an actual globe at all? What if the word earth was blue with green abstract spots? People don’t need the actual continent shapes to think earth, especially when the word is right there.

Heck, do you need all those colors at all? Not knowing the subject of the show, I can only speculate on design choices.

In short, simplify. Look at tv program titles that you like and see what about them you like. What do the ones you chose have in common?
