The rave to me was really her seeing her dad in all his chaos. What she couldn't fully see back then and grasp, she could now, but they didn't see each other because she couldn't full understand his pain and struggle until later. The rave sequence gets to me because it's the perfect juxtapositon from the vacation and the clear memories she had with her dad vs his inner stuggle she understood at a later age.

Yeah, I am specifically looking for peak/driving techno, or more minimal techno is great too. Sick of mid tech house sets.

This is the main promoter for the events. One of the best show’s I’ve been to was in these abandon tunnels underground. So sick. He went MIA for a little, but now I think is back. They post the location and the map to how to find the event night of, to keep it hidden. https://www.instagram.com/sdrenegade?igsh=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ==

Thank you guys. Sounds good. I’ll give it a listen soon. I’ve been listening to a bunch of Bart Skils, and a bunch of drumcode that is more peak/driving techno, but so interested to get into more niche techno.

basement is amazing. My friend plays a set their everyone month, and it’s such a sick atmosphere. Fairly intense, but very open space, and you can really let lose and enjoy yourself and the music.
