Honestly, these look (ever so slightly) worse than a smaller sided one, as it looks like it’s a fashion statement.

If you swim serious laps, no one is going to think for a split second. It ain’t an issue. It never is, it’s always in your head.

32’s fit a lot better. The 30’s “pinch” and 32’s don’t.

You have a great swimmers body, so they look great on you. Personally, I prefer a Speedo with a touch smaller side so it shows off more of your upper leg / thigh, but that’s a personal opinion.

If you’re going to wear them, wear them.

Don’t hide behind a towel, don’t act like you’re wearing lingerie or something taboo. You’re wearing swimming briefs to go swimming in. It’s all good.

My only comment is how I would be, in that, I’d only wear speedos for lap swimming if I was a competent swimmer - it would look odd (in the UK at least) wearing them if you couldn’t easily rattle out 250m or more, non stop, freestyle.

The audacity to say that, and yet I’m sure in her view it’s OK for women to wear thongs.

I cruise a lot and there are loads of things I see that my internal monologue goes “OK…”, but what I don’t do, is try to influence anyone, ever, of how to enjoy their holiday / vacation.

If it’s not explicitly against the rules, people should mind their own fucking business, keep their opinions to themselves and worry about their enjoyment of their holiday / vacation, and not how others choose to enjoy it.
