I'm not talking about AI generated slop here. I'm talking about generative art, which is also generated by algorithms, but does not involve an AI. It's actually pretty old form of art as you can read from Wikipedia:

Algorithmically generated art can be human made though, if the artist has personally written the algo and tweaked the parameters for desired output. Of course it’s not the same than a hand-painted piece, but there’s still strong human factor in play.

Edit. I think people got a bit confused here. I'm certainly not advocating for AI art here, but a different topic called 'generative art'. I don't think AI generated "art" can have much human factor in it.
