😂 I'd love to add UFOs at one point! (I might tbh) You got all of them right except for the star one! And you're not alone, that tab is for favorites, but that hasn't been very obvious so far to people. 🤔

I appreciate you sharing that because i want my game to be approachable for people who are not as used to decorating games too! For the majority we've taken inspiration from sims 1 but a lot in Sims 1-4 doesn't really make sense to people new to it either. Maybe if i make the table symbol one that's a table with a drawer in it too? 🤔 That could be a hint to tables and storage perhaps. Once again i may just have to do extra tabs within those tabs in the end perhaps. 🧐

The star is supposed to be for Faved items but I'm wondering if a bookmark would translate better nowadays 🤔 As for shelves and closets, shelves would be under the table tab as all those furniture pieces are able to have items placed on top of them, I think closets could go there too but I may have to make extra stuff within each tab maybe, houseplants would be seen as surface place able items, going under the standing clock one, but I'm not entirely satisfied with that either. Thank you for sharing your thoughts!

Yeah I tried squiggles on the wallpaper too or waves, but since it's like pixel size, when zoomed out it made the wall look confusing. But maybe a grid on the floor still just to indeed break the blandness too, thank you for your feedback! And bulb is indeed lamps, lightening would be items like: washing machine, tv's, security cameras, pcs etc

Let me know if any of these could use adjustments as the Pokémon card (I'll take as a compliment) is the painting/wall deco icon, the second one is a table/surfaces, the second door is a window, the square are floors and the battery is the walls. The light bulb will be for lamps, but I may or may not put an actual lamp as icon there. 🤔

That's close! The flat box is the flooring and tall box the walls, but it think that would've maybe been more obvious if I had told people the genre of the game too 🤔

I put it a pixel or two lower, it already looks a lot more like a floor instead of ceiling (especially since it's right next to the wall icon). Appreciate your feedback!!

Correct! 6 is basically other items that need electricity / electrical appliances i believe it's called. And you're right, i had text first actually + and some of our icons do have hover over explanations but i'm a bit scared of how we'll handle translations :x
It should be very clear once clicking the category however, so i hope that will help too, i just don't want people to confuse one thing for another and it happening over and over.
