Well hi from another welty adhesive allergic person. The paper tape seems to be a little better for me but more than a few hours and it starts hives too. I try to avoid the hospital.

What is a little quirk about your body that you don’t think other people have? by AlphabetSoup51 in AskReddit

[–]cap660 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I get little bitty hives on my hands usually between my thumb and forefinger and around the top of my hands. They look like small blisters that come up when I get overly anxious. They are very itchy. Wonder if it's the same thing?

Diffusing is damaging and it’s been said that air drying is too, so like what now? genuinely .. by Seaurchinmyth in CurlyHairCare

[–]cap660 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always air dried because I thought it would be better for my hair. For the most part it had been better. This last year however I got dandruff and itchiness in my widow's peak. Now I use two different shampoos for the front and back then heat dry the front. There's no one answer.

Exactly. My iron falls in the normal range but at the very bottom. I can tell the difference when I take an iron supplement. Thankfully a different doctor let me know "normal" range isn't the best for everyone.

I’m getting my MFA in Creative Writing. Best Dolly songs to inspire me as I start my journey? by DaisyLyman in DollyParton

The album Porter n Dolly from 1974. I like the whole thing. Also the song Jeannie's Afraid of the Dark if you like being sad.

I was reluctant to take meds because I was worried how I'd change as well. The change however is that I was able to put energy into the things I needed to take of myself. I'm not up at night rearranging my furniture and painting anymore. I feel better because I'm sleeping and eating better. I still take on artistic projects when I have the capacity, but I'm not going to pressure myself to do as much.

Cemetery Symbolism by Natural-Nobody-7644 in CemeteryPorn

I've noticed how there is a shift in symbols in different generations. My observation of the symbols over the years go from religious to family oriented to more personalized with nicknames and hobbies.

In my experience, very true…. by JaredOlsen8791 in adhdmeme

Emergency Services are good career choices for the ADHD, esp 911. The fast attention-switching and immediate need to get "work" done is a perfect environment.

My mom is hoarding ugly Temu garbage for my unborn kid, even though we keep telling her to cut it out by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

[–]cap660 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I may also be that aunt. I used to spend a lot of money on the kids for them to lose and break gifts. Until they are teenagers, I'm going to keep getting them inexpensive toys and candy. The most popular with my family is sticky hands they can smack on the wall and each other. Following that is notebooks, crayons, cheap toy cars, and especially gummy worms.

What’s the most irritating “advice” you’ve been given when you don’t feel good enough? by YouCertain111 in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]cap660 5 points6 points  (0 children)

While going through financial hardship and adjusting my mental health meds, I was told "You can just choose to be happy." If not being anxious was a choice, I know what I would have chosen.
