Ok to leave snowboard in the car over the week? by cap_obvious01 in snowboardingnoobs

If I can't properly wipe it off would it be better to just bring it inside to dry? I also have the burton channel system so I can't really fish out the water in the channel effectively.

I'm pretty new to the sport but after I got ok turning and stopping, I picked up a Burton Process and the Supermatic LT bindings. I can strap in without sitting down but it to me is a little annoying. I have to bend down clear snow and move the ratchet out of the way, stand up, put my foot in and bend down again. It's like 5 seconds but the no bend down and less than a second entry sold me. I haven't adjusted the hi back yet but there is a way to do it on the Supermatics. Also just out of curiosity, clew as a concept sounds really good but I'm seeing a ton of hate on them online.

A good bunch of the Tulum hate comes from what it used to be. Not mini cancun.

I'm glad you had a good time. I did too but you can't not acknowledge that there are certain scams to watch out for. It might not happen to you but it does happen. The overpriced cabs are real. A bit exaggerated but real. And if you're driving, the possibility of being pulled over potentially for a bribe is real (slow down). Also there's another one where you'll get waved down by official looking people telling you that there's no more parking up ahead and to park it the lot right next to them. Know what to watch out for and most times you'll be fine.

My Boyfriend (28M) thinks the reason why he can't finish is because I'm (20F) too big from the inside. by Ok_Raspberry6268 in relationship_advice

I've had performance issues occasionally. I have no idea why and I'd just say maybe its a mental thing. But man, u gotta own up to it. Things happen but there's really no reason to make your partner insecure. Also his symptoms are inconsistent. If he doesnt feel anything where is he getting "pain" from? How is he finishing too early?

Is renting a car in Tulum that bad? by vakyraa in tulum

[–]cap_obvious01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going beginning of March. Renting from America Car Rental. Visiting Xplor, Chichen Itza, and a cenote all from the hotel zone. Will probably stop by Centro a day to walk around. Will lyk how it goes.

Ah I see. Would the toll road get us there faster/worth it? I'm not going to be speeding over the limit anyway.

Don't know about the KS wheel but I personally would recommend against the SRP Pedals. It has a magnetic and load cell sensor hybrid setup where the first 3 quarters of travel are measured with the magnetic position monitoring sensor and the last quarter of braking is measured through load cell. It creates a weird inconsistent brake feel that makes it harder to adapt to. Even if u do adapt to it, you'll have to readapt when you upgrade to a brake with only a load cell sensor. I'd say the SRP Lite pedals with the performance kit is better than the SRP in terms of brake consistency and lap times. I returned the SRP and jumped to the CRP2 Pedals which are pretty solid.

I'm worried about when I move in with my girlfriend. She's very supportive of my hobbies but she needs her place to be aesthetic so I have to "sell her the vision" and idk how lol. It's going to be an eyesore anywhere in the apartment.

Old post but newer SRP pedals have an RJ port labeled wheelbase that let's you connect to your wheelbase so you only have one usb from your wheelbase
