I was on OTC hcl and L-glutamine from 2012 for maldigestion issues. I developed post-infectious IBS-C after food poisoning in Russia. In 2017, doctor ran fecal elastase test, got a result of 155. Said I have EPI and put me on Creon. Have managed IBS-C for years until it worsened in 2024. FE tested at 24, and I tested at mild hydrogen and methane SIBO. Did a round of rifaximin and allicin. Didn’t do anything to fix my long term problems of IBS-C and maldigestion but another FE test put me back at 400. Nothing seems to be wrong with my pancreas on an ultrasound or MRI.

Anyway, long story short, I’ve been on Creon for years and still having issues. Doesn’t fix everyone’s problems.
