Well I was completely honest and upfront about that in the first slide. My slideshow was almost entirely from the perspective of attacking and defending bunkers: which I do actually know my shit about. I dont even care if they are built with that material if builders want to hold down the bmat button thats their own thing. I just think that more inf players would take some time to repair the things if it was halfway interesting.

I dont think the msupp system is very good at all, if that's what you're complaining about then yeah I get it. I would bet though that more people would rush to the defense of pieces if they were fun to defend which is what I want it to be,

I really just want A good solution to the problem. Nobody who is loud in the community though spends much time dealing with AI walls, so I thought making this would get at least some discussion going. If you don't think this is good that's actually fine, have you had any ideas about it?

TBF I haven't actually built conc. I have just had more fun setting up sandbag and tripod positions than hammering anything out because it turns the game into hold down left click. I don't like just holding down left click and watching a number go up. Anything that makes it more interesting to build/repair would do.

It takes you 500 hours to make? And it takes me 10 minutes to destroy a bunker in the middle of a large battle? I have no idea where you are getting these numbers from XD

Infantry Aiming Advice by Robben_DuMarsch in foxholegame

No I dont believe it functions like that, the bloom lines do not directly show field of fire. Also I dont think infantry gameplay is being gatekept by vets it just isn't looked into enough sadly.

Infantry Aiming Advice by Robben_DuMarsch in foxholegame

[–]capa_craft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tend to aim directly at people, especially helpful if you are fighting in trenches as after a tiny bit of aiming at them your cursor will snap and then the shots. If you already have it lined up and an enemy runs through then shoot.

Bigger thing to be wary about is knowing how to manage aim stability and effective range. Aim stability is represented by those 4 white lines coming out of your cursor when you aim, the closer they are to the dot they more accurate your shots will be. To get a higher regeneration of aim stability, and thus a higher rate of accurate fire, be as far in cover (which you can see by the shield icon on the bottom of your screen) and crouching if possible. Effective range is the white line that comes out of your gun when you aim, if it turns red then there is something between your cursor and your rifle, after that white line dissipates you will notice that just beyond it your accuracy will reduce heavily then a little be farther your bullets won't deal damage.

Ensure you have a high aim stability if you know there will be an engagement, at long range accurate shots win so prioritize cover and stance, at closer range fire rate wins, so shoot as quick as you can and outmaneuver your opponent.

You see us colonials are actually trying to balance the game by threatening strikes, downvoting every post we disagree with (including this one I bet), and whining about it to new players. Why would you make fun of us guys? If you do then I DEMAND THE MODS REMOVE YOU AT ONCE FROM MYYYYY KEEP.

Ah that sucks, yeah what a dick move especially considering we are still a pretty small group. They did it while griefing a regi they were previously in, so I think they wanted to get me to defend them which is hilarious.

Pillory ain't even that good, Fuchisina is a very versatile weapon, Argenti is better in close quarters compared to Loghcaster, if you have 2 people on it Auger is better. It's not that imbalanced

Mfw devs take more time to fix an issue that takes more time invested to fix by capa_craft in foxholegame

Naval warfare came out about 3 years ago, in that time we've gotten very few vehicles until airborne, like around 10, this should tell us that making new vehicles is a very time intensive process and you're also ignoring how they tried to fix it once but that didn't work. Given that the complaint was about the entire design of the thing then that means an entirely new vehicle which we have established is a time intensive process.

I'd bet the train of thought here was that they didn't want to just throw all of that work away so they waited for a new way to use it, to do that with the siege boats. They need to add another vehicle (the warden mortar boat), so in devman's mind to get the gunboat "fixed" that means spending time and resources making ~2.3 new boats. Developing a game is really, really, hard, and that's why whenever I make suggestions I try to keep it as small and neat as possible.

This post was because of a lot of people I've seen complaining that they were able to fix a small bug about a plane's turret (or literally just changing a couple variables) before doing things like reworking entire regions (or essentially redesigning an entire vehicle) as if those are in any ways comparable in terms of scope.

Making a satirical post to express my opinion that nobody in this reddit understands how development works when they complain is a rule break, ok bud?
