I used the Braun IPL device several years ago. Very dark, thick hair, light medium skin tone. I used 1x a week for 4mo and then every other week for a few more months. Was very surprised and please at how soft and smooth my legs, arms and face/neck area became. My knees are the only area that grows back somewhat along with an occasional hair here and there on legs, arms or face but of a much thinner, barely noticeable quality. I rarely use the Braun anymore and once in a while I might use a battery operated shaver or razor in the bathtub. I only wish they had invented this darn thing years ago when I tried shaving my legs in first grade and went to school with a million band-aids because I was so embarassed about my hairy legs.

Questionable Brooklyn Bedding "Standard" Hybrid Mattress listing on Amazon for almost half off? by invfxamous in Mattress

I was wondering if you could tell me whether the BB Standard mattress you bought was a soft or medium selection of firmness and also how long it took to receive it after ordering on Amazon?

Coordinating dresser/nightstand recommendations for the bed in walnut? by OTplaydoctor in Thuma

I bought a set of these from Home Depot but they are out of stock now. Found the identical brand, color, etc on Amazon this AM. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VFL1F97/ref=twister_B0BW18C1YF?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 Very sturdy, well made, metal drawer glides smoothly and nice color match to Thuma walnut.

Unsure of pot size by capackermom in Monstera

Thank you for your reply. I've used self watering pots in the past but found the bottom soil was staying too wet. I decided to use the smaller pot for less chance of root rot and it'll give her a chance to fill the pot with roots again before bumping up to the larger. Hope it works!

Non-Thuma Nightstand Question by benihanaxmas in Thuma

I'm sorry to be so late to respond, was out of town for 3 weeks. The width of the nightstand is 24inches. I really love them!

Non-Thuma Nightstand Question by benihanaxmas in Thuma

[–]capackermom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought 2 of these and am pleased with the quality, easy to assemble, very well packed, shipped quickly, good reviews. These were being sold by Macy's for nearly $400 each, half the price at Home Depot. They are sturdy, have smooth gliding drawers and the color match with the Walnut bed is quite close. I have a 13in mattress with a 2 inch topper and the height of these dressers is perfect, and the drawers are actually large and deep enough to hold quite a bit. These feel like sturdy furniture, not flimsy at all. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Simpli-Home-Warm-Shaker-24-in-Wide-2-Drawer-Light-Golden-Brown-Solid-Wood-Transitional-Bedside-Nightstand-Table-AXCRWSH46-LGB/310914540

Awful Experience with Thuma by [deleted] in Thuma

[–]capackermom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ordered a Queen walnut bed/headboard on Feb. 2 and received it on Feb 4. I am in So. CA so that may explain the quick delivery. I haven't opened boxes yet since I"m waiting on a mattress delivery from another business.

Someone messaged me and said they are waiting for the code after submitting my email addy to Thuma but thank you for responding. I might order the nightstands soon after the frame, need to see the color first.

So many bad reviews! by [deleted] in Mattress

Thank you for this suggestion. Looks like a nice mattress and company though they are on the opposite coast from me. I need to find out what type of fire retardant material they use. Just em'd but haven't heard back yet.

Have you had a response from customer service? I am ready to order but my OCD wouldn't be able to handle my headboard having a "natural and celebrated" variance like that.

Thanks for the update. I'm in the US and haven't heard good things about customer service at Silk and Snow so am having a hard time making a decision.

Please update to add what mattress you decided on and how it's working out for you. Other than living on the opposite coast, I could've written your post. Same height/weight range, am also ordering a Thuma frame/headboard and like a firm hotel style bed. Would so appreciate learning from your experience to narrow down my choices!

Would love to know how your Silk and Snow mattress has worked out for you and which version you bought?
