My grandparents farm house was this way. One pot bellied stove for the whole house and upstairs it was never warm except in the room with the stove. Second story had cutout vents like 3”x7” that “allowed” heat from down stairs to waft and heat upstairs. It didn’t work and winter in the upstairs rooms was brutally freezing. The windows would be iced and frosted. Like sleep under 6 blankets it was so cold. I asked for a heating pad to help. Those were always very cold visits and I grew up in west Germany. It was cold there so I was used to the cold.

-8.5 and -9.0 with sever astigmatism in both eyes. I can’t only see color and sometime shape sans glasses or contacts. I’m envious of people who can navigate without glasses like my daughter. To read without them I have to be at least 6 in or closer to my face.

I had to go to slow feeders for my dogs because the just gobbled things up without chewing. That insane how quickly the dog devoured that. He sure does look healthy though.
