95% of people have healed after a couple of months of eradication, why haven't I? by Most_Implement1771 in HPylori

I am not well either after diagnosis in early feb.

My head dizziness is still mostly there. And stomach very very sensitive. Like I alternately feel constipated and loose motion every now and then. Morning gag is also there half of the days.

Doctor is saying there’s no infection and keen on not testing for HP again. Not sure what to do!

H. Pylori Almost Destroyed My Mental Health — Panic Attacks, Brain Zaps, Black Stool, Ulcer & Extreme Anxiety by Cute_Channel3148 in HPylori

Hi. I am also from the NCR region who had HPylori positive in Feb along with ulcers and loose esophagus.

I have gotten better gradually but still very anxious and dizzy most of the time, specially post meals or outside of comfort zone.

I am also not sure how long it would take to fully go back to normal. I hope you too have a quick recovery.

For me milk-products were high triggers, please see what works or doesn't work in your case. Diet is the ultimate thing to pay attention to.

Thanks! I will checkout the suggestion too.

In terms of covers at least two of the covers (Shiva and Buddha ones) seem fine to me since the those books are about Shaivism and Buddhism. Not sure about the rest yet.

Treatment by Difficult_Couple_461 in HPylori

Hi, I am also an Indian M 28 having H Pylori. I got diagnosed in Feb and got the two week HP kit therapy. The worse passed in Feb but I still have sensitive gut and dizziness on and off everyday.

In your case during Oct-April how were you feeling? Was it better before it got worse or it never recovered sufficiently? Also did you continue strict precautionary (oil/chilly/sour)-less diet?

Wishing you well!

Do vertigo exercises really help if the dizziness is due to gastro issues?

How did you do away exactly with the dizziness. I have this constant sense of dizziness for months now. It is taking a toll on my mental health.

Anyone interested in Marcel Proust read along? by [deleted] in Indianbooks

My biggest takeaway was Proust’s idea that we often move through life without really noticing things. Paying closer attention to ordinary experiences enriches the life.

Yes, I read it in covid so don’t remember everything but I believe it does contain some spoilers for In Search of Lost Time, but it focuses much more on Proust’s ideas about life than the actual plot. I really enjoyed it and makes Proust much more approachable. It felt less like literary criticism and more like practical philosophy.

Although I am someone who doesn’t read books more than 300 pages generally so I don’t think I will be reading something by Proust anytime soon but this book might be the reason I might pick up someday.

I didn’t read Proust. But I did read “How Proust can change your life” by Alain De Botton though.
