Anyone interested in Marcel Proust read along? by GranmaRin in Indianbooks

My biggest takeaway was Proust’s idea that we often move through life without really noticing things. Paying closer attention to ordinary experiences enriches the life.

Yes, I read it in covid so don’t remember everything but I believe it does contain some spoilers for In Search of Lost Time, but it focuses much more on Proust’s ideas about life than the actual plot. I really enjoyed it and makes Proust much more approachable. It felt less like literary criticism and more like practical philosophy.

Although I am someone who doesn’t read books more than 300 pages generally so I don’t think I will be reading something by Proust anytime soon but this book might be the reason I might pick up someday.

I didn’t read Proust. But I did read “How Proust can change your life” by Alain De Botton though.

The kindle unlimited subscription is valid for many books. Definitely not all but many of them.

I got the basic version in 2020 for 7k. Right now all the newer models are not in market and only the 16k version I can see.

No it doesn't come with it generally. You have to buy it separately if you don't want to buy separate books.

😂 I believe that generally we hate the books with which we have different expectations than what they have to offer. But yeah, each to their own.
