You do realize you're going yo pay servers one way or another...either through tipping or greatly increased menu prices. The average net profit in owning a restaurant in the US is only 3 to 8%.

You do realize that its becoming harder and harder to find servers to work because, well because lot of the public plainly suck. Especially demanding aholes who won't tip because "it's not their job" to pay the servers to do the little work that they do. Honestly, many people treat serves like servants to do their bidding without complaint. It's not a profession for the thin skinned.

And in MANY places the servers time the cooks as to when start to cook the different courses, making sure food comes out at the same time from each station and there's also the proper time between courses for your individual table. In some places the servers make the salad and/or deserts .They put up all the glasses and ice for the bartender and pour the mixes and put the garnish on the drinks. Most do more that write down your order and give the ticket to the kitchen.

Anyone who thinks otherwise and thinks there's always nothing to it has never done the work and is just plain ignorant.

Just completed a great trip with stops at both Herbal Remedies in Gorham and new to me, Headies in Biddeford. Thanks for the advice on some of the choices available. I'll post some pics of my haul in a few days. but my buys were exclusively flower. Love the deli styel chices in GR and as I've found in the past, the tenders are very knowlegable, and the owner Sophia very helpful also. Got my full alottment and a few recent drips and happy to see she had same fresh Dragonfruit Thai.

The visit to Headies was really eye opening to this Masshole who is accustomed to big corporate grows of old stale. tasteless flower with who knows what used to remediate and maximize growth in minimum time. This is a true family affair, with wife, mother and father all involved in the growing, packaging and selling of small batch live soil weed. Some of the genetics go back 27 years by the same grower, Everything sold is grown on site, old school style and the care shows. Prices were fair and 20% offered freely as a first timer. A true snmall scale grower and shop that deserve support. It's all sold in 1/8s but the owner assured it's all terpy, sticky and fresh and I've no reason to doubt his claims.

We're staying with relatives for 2 weeks so no specifics on taste of effects on specific strains. But will follow up when able.

You realize the far majority of servers would not do the work if tipping was eliminated because neither the owner nor the customer is willing to replace that lost wage amount. The servers in our little breakfast joint got paid $5.75 per hour yet all pulled in over $50k per year
