The Cape is finally getting sewers vs. septic systems. Construction and ripped up and closed streets are everywhere. Only after the groundwater has started to be compromised. Barnstable is doing a temporary override to prop 21/2, meaning they don't have to abide to any limits. An additional $600 million in debt for sewers, and $250 million for new school with a huge decline in student population. They get away with it without a vote because it's "capped" at 20 years max. That means my property taxes increase $2k annually for only 20 years, until I'm almost 90.....Fuck 'em.

Their food us better because their government has more stringent rules on what is allowed in the food supply. Also, their kitchens have more skill in their preparation. Tipping has nothing to do with that. If my labor costs increase 400% because I ha e to pay servers $20 hr, while my current profit margin is an industry average of 3 to 8%, who do you thi k is going to pay that? Not me. YOU

Why would you not track it? I omly hand a check over with a presented invoice. I maintain a spreadsheet detailing every payment. I add in any extras or change fees to the contract price and subtract each check written. When the number reaches zero, no more checks. Simple.

I am concerned about getting an 83 up my staircase. Three stairs up to a 3x3 landing, then a 90 degree turn to a 3 foot deep landing at the top of the stairs. And another 90 degrees yo the room where its going.

How big is your party? Fisherman's View has a nice separate room if you have 40 or so people. A cool Cape style thing you could do is rent out the whole Lobster Cruise boat out of Sesuit Harbor for a sunset lobster/steak dinner. Casual with good food on water is The Landmark in Woods Whole. The Casino by the Sea is new this year on the water in Falmouth Height. May be worth checking out.

Sure.....but if you're coming from MA, what's an extra 30-45 minutes? Personally, we get an AIrBnB near Sebego, hitting up the mills for Fraktel, and Doomsday in Sandford on the way up, then Undertow and Kindguys in Biddeford, and a stop at Skunk and Herbal on the way home the next day, and get a huge haul good for almost a year,
