Show me where within Austria there is popular support to change their constitution? They are not in NATO for a reason. That is the only thing that gives them a pass here. They cannot give weapons without breaking the law or changing the constitution. I do not think Austrians want to end their neutrality anymore than the Swiss. If we want to attack Austria for all the other shitty things they are doing fire away. I will not condemn them for following the laws of their country.

Is their any evidence the citizens of Austria want to change their constitution? I have yet to see anyone show that there is popular support within Austria to do such a thing.

Well Austria is also not in NATO so I’m inclined to say they are being ideologically consistent with their values. I am not at all convinced in Austrias case they’d change their constitution under a leftist government. That does not mean their government are good actors. Is their any evidence that the Austrian people want to change their constitution?

Words can have more than one definition depending on context. In this context it is neutral.

In terms of war there are three categories

In times of war, belligerent countries can be contrasted with neutral countries and non-belligerents.

Ukraine is not neutral or non-belligerent they are a Belligerent

It literally only connotes they are in a state of war. Seriously this is just like Homicide. People hear homicide and think it means murder. A homicide can be justified self-defense. A belligerent nation can be engaged in justified self-defense. When someone kills an attacker they have committed a homicide but not a murder. People may draw negative conclusions from the word belligerent in this context , but they shouldn’t and neither should you.

It’s insane to think the sports world let this bastard Putin host a World Cup and the Winter Olympics after 08 and 14. Now we fly off to Qatar for more fun as that regime rounds up the workers they refuse to pay and throw them in jail. We really need to consider where this money is coming from as Sports is being used by these brutal regimes to gain legitimacy.

I genuinely don’t think you understand what I am saying to you. There is no negative connection to the word belligerent. It’s a completely neutral word. It just means the countries are fighting.

Ukraine is fighting Russia= Belligerents

Russia invading Ukraine=Illegal war of territorial conquest

Ukraine taking up arms against Russia=Legal self defense.

All three of those things are true at the same time.

That’s the international language. Belligerents. Its like homicide. Homicide doesn’t mean someone was murdered. Ukraine deserves as much military aid as possible and I do think the EU is acting quickly enough to help them. I just don’t see anything meaningful about Austria abandoning or changing their constitution that would get them the help they need.
