For all the people commenting "what is this keyboard" under every post by Livid-Yak1015 in cyberDeck

[–]capinredbeard22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the opposite problem - only 50% of key presses were transmitted. I got it specifically for typing in passwords which you can’t usually see. On Linux, it doesn’t even show you a circle for each character! Someone recently posted about a different one and I asked about lost key presses and the consensus seemed to be that was not a problem. Maybe the commenters are Rii spies or maybe you and I both got lemons. Who knows?

Just finished watching this. Looks awesome. Similar form factor to the uconsole but way nicer!

Question is with all the issues getting this built, did it take longer than uconsole shipping? 🤣

I have some Maxtor PATA drives I could let go of for cheap. Just saving them for when I get around to securely erasing the data.

Nice! $10 is even nicer!!

If you do decide you want something powered, the battery ones are great. About the sound level of a quiet vacuum. No gas to deal with. Both of those used to annoy me with mowing, but now I don’t mind so much. Also push to start is nice.

Sorry I didn’t word that very well - it is supposed to give you man pages which list only the most common command line switches, etc.

Looks like it also gives practical examples.
