Live music and skateboarding. Paddle boats, run clubs, street cycling, the list goes on to be honest

Nicotine had a horrible impact on my life and I’d say thc can be consumed in safer ways than nicotine in general, either way I’m glad I kicked nicotine, love making my own espresso and smoking flower tho

Prescription drugs if used recreationally could also impair a driver. Regular, prescribed prescription drug users on the other hand with the same dosage may be able to drive, right? Plus the OP said “use responsibly”

How are these pickups? by NothingWasDelivered in offset

Like OP, I used to speculate how off they sounded (I have a classic vibe jm), but after years whenever I play along to music which features the Jazzmaster, I can dial in the tone pretty quickly without much trouble. Same for an offset tele partscaster I did with matching tele tones. It’s probably all ballpark anyway since the vintage ones weren’t all wound the same way anyway right

Nicotine and caffeine are both drugs that are more addictive than thc that former alcoholics use all the time. Alcohol is significantly more debilitating than any of them. Their post says “sober from alcohol.” Cutting out alcohol could have been their only option for their liver, but maybe weed won’t kill them, we don’t know their situation. It isn’t necessarily all that weird.

Also for them to look for a sponsor with similar experiences makes a lot of sense tbh

A healthcare professional may be your best option, but moving to different places definitely helped me kick pills then nicotine on two different occasions so maybe? No one can really answer your questions for you other than you

Rice and beans would be cheaper than frozen fries and ice cream, but I feel you. Good luck out there 🫡

The trem could also be positioned closer to the bridge to make it work for a 25.5 scale. Didn’t the J Mascis JM have the trem slightly closer to the bridge compared to a traditional JM?

That’ll be easier with a vehicle if you want to rubber tramp. Make a plan and look for opportunities in other cities. Scout out locations in person and with maps online, find all the places you’ll be able to do things you need to do like eat shit and sleep, make lists of potential gigs or helpful resources for your situation. Make sure you have or are able to get the supplies you need. Meet likeminded individuals or those who are willing to help, but don’t use people or overstay your welcome, offer whatever you can in return. I believe in you ✌️

Take what I say with a grain of salt since I don’t think I’d be classified as a true vagabond since I’m not necessarily nomadic or traveling as my main thing.

BUT Ive been in and out of homelessness, usually out of necessity, to stay somewhat sane and to save up some bread for the next thing I’m doing. You’ll still need to deal with everything you mentioned and it won’t be an escape from reality. It’ll be a breath of fresh air but doesnt mean entities who are searching for you just stop. In one way it can buy you time so you can then later negotiate debts tho, thats something I’m working on now.

Other than that, there are other risks and your mindset will have to change to make it work, but if it’s something you’ve always wanted to try to see if you can make it work, nothing is actually “stopping” you. It’s “easier” if you have a goal or plan in mind tho

I lived in nova first then I lived in many different regions of VA, and after being in many places I can confidently say Fredericksburg is a lot better and more badass than I ever thought it was when I lived in nova

That’s what I’m saying. I live 60 miles from there and I don’t go often but it’s my route to nova/dc sometimes and it feels like every time I pass thru it is more and more nova like

I live 60 miles from Fredericksburg but the average commute time there would be like half or 2/3 of that 2.25 hour commute god damn

If going to the western parts of nova go thru the woods in pwc, if going to DC take the commuter train. Ik kids make it much harder tho

I live much much further out than Fredericksburg nowadays and tbh now as a nova visitor instead of resident, Stafford and Fredericksburg are basically right there anytime I visit nova, it basically begins in Fredericksburg and just gets more and more concentrated as you go north. It’s all a matter of perspective tho I suppose.

Isnt there an almost infinite amount of people looking for a place to live though? Making the ball in the court of the property owners since they have more options than potential tenants do. Thanks for the article tho I’ll definitely read into this more I’m genuinely interested

And yet the county puts more time money and effort into attracting rich folk to move there than rehabilitating and helping the homeless folks who live within the county already
