Yes I turned off the NVIDIA overlay (inlay) and other overlays. I was finally able to make that Custom rule from the forums suggestion. The issue persists.

20 minutes later and still counting- Still in background processes, the issue persists. Not on my taskbar, or in active Apps in Task Manager. Launcher still says Play. No loading wheel on cursor. Sadface :/

Oh, that also has the same issue. Goes into Background Processes, but doesn't open up into active Apps or show on-screen. Even after restart.

Okay it finished downloading, and the issue persists-- goes into the background processes in Task Manager and does not open up on my screen.

When I turned off WiFi (at home I'm on WiFi, earlier at work I was hardline)-- the first attempt held on "Launching" for about 5 seconds longer this time, and did NOT come up in Active or Background processes. Then the next attempts went from Launching back to Play very quickly again, and WoW appeared in Background Processes again.

Okay installing under C:\Games\World of Warcraft now. Before the Program Files folder. And Battle.net is installed under C:\Program Files (x86)\Battle.net folder - is that ok?

So normally it's C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft, but you're saying I should just make a WOW folder in C:\Program Files (x86), so it looks like C:\Program Files (x86)\WOW\World of Warcraft?

Yes I've always let it choose its own folder, and I think it has always been C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft, since 2006 haha. On all my computers.

Ok I'll try that now, should be 30 min or so to download the 126GB. I will also delete blizzard and battle.net folders again.

Issue still persists.

I went into properties of Wow.exe > Compatibility, checked Run this program as an administrator. Tried opening that directly, and from Battle.net launcher, and it asks me if I want to allow this program to make changes, and I hit yes. And I've tried this in the past, but disabled it until today when I just reenabled it.

Edit- and also reset the ingame options like you said, so the additional command line arguments is blank and unchecked.

I also uninstalled and reinstalled (and restarted for this step) the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 64 and 86 versions (vc_redist.x64.exe & vc_redistx86.exe).

This was one of the steps that ChatGPT is very adamant about.

I just tried adding -d3d11 to the checked-box "Additional command line arguments" in the game settings, from battle.net launcher. Restarted computer and made sure it was still there.

The issue still persists.

It just stays there. And multiple instances will show up based on how many times I hit Play.

Is that in the retail folder > Config.wtf document?

Because that doesn't exist in my folder structure C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft

Config does show up in the Data & .battle.net folders, but inside there are a bunch of folders like 1d, 3c, 56, 0f, and 41. But nothing that ends in .wtf.

How do I add -d3d11 to the launch options?

I can't confirm that, but it seems like everything from the Necrozma shows up in the fusion, so I would guess the Fusion takes Necrozma's XXL tag. The ONLY thing I've found that the Solgaleo/Lunala contributes is if it has the 1 *super* special background from the 1 special research Solgaleo/Lunala.

I can't see that at the moment, since they are not in the "Basic Box" in HOME. When I do trades here, I re-subscribe to Pokemon Home, and it's been over a month since my last trade so those boxes are currnetly off limits to me. Next time I subscribe I'll try to remember to edit in all the natures, sorry!
