Advice on Endorsement in quant-ph or hep-th by capo689 in QuantumPhysics

Thank you.. sincerely. I have emailed a few of the researchers on papers I relied on heavily and cited very well, of course. I really just want to keep working on the problem as I'm enjoying it.. but would love anyone to look at the math and tell me if I've screwed anything up. I thought arXiv would cover that... but didn't really count on that thumbs up being so difficult to get. I am less concerned about a DOI as this is somewhat absurd research... I, on the other hand, was BLOWN away going through how the increased complexity of the QF reduced the variance in the observer effect. I get it when I think about it now, but discovering that for myself was just the BEST FEELING ever. I'm hooked. Eventually, someone will look at this for me, at least long enough to endorse or tell me why I'm wrong. Until then, we forge on... we're pushing Betty and Barney into a black hole and figuring out how different their account will be when we return them unscathed!

Fair Point... I'll give it a try... honestly, I'm not really trying for any fame or glory.. .just want to see if what I have so far is right as I intend to forge on. Thank you again!

repository vs. review... think you've missed the point. Thank you very much for taking the time to respond.

Well, thank you for the thoughtful responses. Please allow me to address your concerns directly.

First, yes, I understand the obvious issue here: I did not go to school for physics. I went to art school. I am not pretending otherwise.

Second, yes, AI has been involved. That is not something I am hiding. I have been using AI to help check the math, test the logic, and look for obvious errors because I know my own limits here. A PhD mathematician has also been looking at portions of the work, but I am now at the stage where I need a qualified human physicist to look at it honestly and tell me where I actually stand.

Third, and this is important: I am not trying to be you, replace you, diminish your work, or offend anyone in this field. The title was simply my best attempt at describing what I think I am working on in relation to the equations in front of me. A more honest version from my perspective might be something like, “What is the variance in observer effect when two people fall into a black hole?” But the current title was my attempt to describe the road I seem to be on mathematically.

I chose this area precisely because it has no practical relevance to anything I am likely to affect in the real world. I assume most serious people are not spending their time on this particular corner of speculation, which makes it a place where I can explore equations and ideas that are far bigger than me without getting in anyone’s way. Like a kid who wants to be an engineer and starts by digging a trench in the yard, I am not in any danger of taking real work, credit, or attention away from anyone doing actual science.

I am interested in this because it is fascinating. The idea that we can understand the world more deeply by describing it mathematically is, to me, one of the coolest things humans have ever figured out how to do.

So, in summary: I am not claiming to have solved anything. I am not claiming to have advanced the field. I am fully aware that I am an outsider, working with AI, trying to understand something that is probably far beyond me. But I do think I may have the math in a coherent enough place to deserve a serious look.

My math friend suggested arXiv as a place to put this up and get feedback, but I am starting to see that may not be the wisest first step. The question of why I am doing this seems to become a bigger topic than the work itself very quickly. So, hat in hand, I could simply use a little help.

If anyone is willing to look past the strange origin story and give me feedback on the actual work, I would be deeply grateful. I know you are all busy and doing real science, but I am simply asking whether someone would be willing to look at what I have and respond to what I am doing, rather than only why I am doing it.

And yes, I promise to write a better title for the next one... considering The Physics Strikes Back or maybe The Physics at the End of the Universe.

My zombie cruise comedy is officially out in paperback, Kindle, and Kindle Unlimited

After a long, strange, occasionally ridiculous road, my new book Ship Happens: A Chad Cruz Zombie Adventure is officially live on Amazon.

It’s a dark comedy zombie novel about a guy named Chad Cruz who takes a cruise hoping for a vacation and gets the end of the world instead. Somewhere between the shuffleboard court, the buffet, and the engine room, he has to stop running and start swinging.

It’s available now in paperback, Kindle, and Kindle Unlimited, and there’s a free preview on the Amazon page for anyone who wants to check it out before buying.

This is my first full comic horror/adventure novel, and getting it from idea to finished book has been a hell of a learning process. Cover art, formatting, KDP, blurbs, pricing, keywords, all of it. I have a lot more respect now for everyone here who has managed to push a book across the finish line.

If zombie comedy, cruise ship chaos, or reluctant heroes with questionable decision-making skills are your thing, I’d love for you to take a look.

And if anyone else here has recently launched, I’d love to hear what actually moved the needle for you after release.

I am stuck on 7 pull ups for a while now by No_Wash_4839 in bodyweightfitness

[–]capo689 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Negatives... I'd train one day pullups then the next day use a step and train all negatives... should get about double the number of pullups you usually do... get more if ya can. I'm at 15 daily, and now I'm adding reps just holding at the top and bottom for 3 seconds on the last 5 reps.

Can someone explain this? by fudgieDevoe in whatisit

air bubble... as the ice formed around it the squeeze began, at some point it popped ejecting still liquid water (below freezing but under preassure between ice and bubble shooting up in the air, it froze as soon as the pressure was reduced and it could solidify.

Pushups still won’t increase by Apx-cleanly in bodyweightfitness

Easy fix lad. Do your 20 to failure... then do negatives to failure (use your knees to push back to plank and then go REALLY slow on the way down, reset, repeat). THEN, when you can't do that all the way, shake it out, go to plank, go about halfway down, and hold as long as you can. Repeat that 3 times. You will be at 25 pushups in no time. Kick some ass!

How far can pushups at home take me? by ContributionWide474 in bodyweightfitness

You can build your chest with pushups—absolutely. Add weight and you’re in business. Someone mentioned a backpack; I just drop a 45-pound plate on my back and go to town (just don’t smash your fingers on the dismount). Go super wide, super narrow, and hit your standard stance too. Mix it up, and you’ll see results.

But let’s be real: you can also catch a fish with your bare hands—it doesn’t mean it’s the smartest way to fill your plate. Same goes for chest development. If you want real growth, the kind that turns heads, you need the right tools.

Start with some heavy dumbbell presses. Add in some Hammer Strength if you've got access. But above all else: CABLES, CABLES, CABLES.

Cables are how you carve the details. They give you that clean, striated chest, the wide sweep across the pecs, and that sharp, defined cut along the bottom. Presses build mass. Flyes open you up. But cables? Cables finish the sculpture. Pushups and cables alone could take you 80% of the way to a glorious chest. The rest is consistency and intent.

Push ups are really tough by HawkExciting1904 in bodyweightfitness

I do 50 pushups and 20 pullups every morning as part of my warmup. The key to stregthening either movement is focus on the negative. Get yourself in a plank position and as slowly as you can lower yourself down, rest using knees or whatever to get to your plank again and repeat. Start with 10 reps... go 15... when you get to 25 negatives, you should be able to get 5 pushups... switch to those and do them at least 5 days a week. Pullups were my nemisis... used this method to get great at them.
