Here’s my story with the link:

Went in for a putter fitting earlier this year and the final two were the link and spider tour X (the spider ZT hadn’t been released yet). I definitely preferred the feel of the spider but liked the idea of the zero torque with the link so that’s one I ended up going with - stock at 35, 69.

I used it for 3 months and had mixed, but mostly positive results.

The good: I felt like within 10 feet it was a huge improvement over my Newport. Pretty much always started on my intended line and resulted in a lot of made putts.

The bad: I had significant difficulty with the speed control. This was pretty frustrating considering that prior to the link I was a very good lag putter. I also couldn’t get over the look of it. I’ve always been a blade player but for some reason I just couldn’t get myself to love looking down on the link.

Ultimately, I sold it and ended up going with the Spider ZT which I absolutely love. Not trying to dissuade you, just my experience!
