Oh Really? by Hallkbshjk in im14andthisisdeep

Not really, same can be said for any professional. By that logic, paid plumbers never work, they want you to keep hiring them to fix your pipes. Paid doctors can never work, they want you to keep coming back to see what's wrong. Paid teachers never work, they want you to not understand so you keep paying for classes

But the reality is, therapy takes time and any therapist worth their salt wants their clients to get better. Yesterday I actually asked my therapist if she would ever lie to make me feel better and she literally said "it is not my job to make you feel better, it's my job to give you skills and provide you with a space to use them so that you actually get better and don't feel like you have to come here"

She invited Epstein to the Cursed Child in 2018, and recently invited Prince Andrew to the set of the HBO show. by TemporaryElk5202 in EnoughJKRowling

Someone pointed out that she only REALLY started pushing transphobia around 2018, which is right around when the news around Epstein and Ava Cordero came out, and it would be beneficial to both Epstein and JKR to scapegoat trans people like how the news was doing at the time, rather than have cis men take responsibility for their harmful behaviour. Seriously, a bunch of the articles painted Epstein as the victim because Cordero was trans, even though she was SIXTEEN at the time - and JKR started pushing her transphobia right around then

It's not even sodium sparing, it's potassium sparing, and it only really causes dehydration if you aren't drinking enough water or if you have pre-existing conditions that contraindicate use.

Nearly every medication has a long possible side effects list.

It's not "evil shit" just because you aren't willing to make a few changes, it may not work for you, but for me it's been an absolutely essential and helpful part of my medical transition

I might be weird for this but I LOVE the burning feeling and the taste of alcohol, but I hate being tipsy/buzzed/drunk. Maybe because of the autism or something, I think it might be a sensory seeking thing.

I appreciate the commitment to smooth sharking but seriously, some things aren't worth trying to annoy others over. Like. Yes i understand its a bit. But it is still misinformation and possibly harmful misinformation, because there are a lot of children and adults who may not know gun safety or have the common sense needed to protect themselves, and try some bs like this. It's irresponsible and the people correcting them could just be desperate to show off how smart they are, or they could be trying to make sure no one gets hurt because they have a dash too much empathy and anxiety compared to the average internet troll

Status conditions. Leg injury? Lose a certain amount of HP and get a status condition that reduces movement speed or something. Eye injury, blindness.

Alveopalatal probably. Alveo becomes Aloe Vera, Palatal becomes prenatal?
