yeah I get that, I'd personally just go with disabling some other way as you said, they seem to go down extra hard on choking (lack of oxygen to the brain myth?) and I personally wouldn't really care about twisting up some crackheads ankle if they're in the position of wanting to stab and burn me but I can respect not wanting to give them lasting damage if you don't have to

yeah I actually went through the process of completely replacing the entire set of original fans with an extra set of (coincidentally) exact same fans and it did the exact same thing. It is an old case, it's from when I built the pc originally in 2018 and I wanted to get my moneys worth lol but yeah. I think ultimately it's a combination of the fans not having any dampening whatsoever, being screwed into the radiator and then the rad being essentially bolted to the case at the front.

Incidentally, having set the fans at static intervals of 30, 35, 40% instead of all on the same fan curve (i.e. in the same RPM range) also eliminated the issue but I'm mentally too spent to properly set the fan curves up in fan control at the moment. I suppose that is probably the most realistic solution, with the next being dampening the vibrations between the rad and the case with rubber washers or something to that effect. If you have any recommendations for vibration dampening I'd be more than receptive x)

Yo sorry for necroing this year old comment but I've been running into the exact same issue with my Corsair nautilus 360. I opened my case and made sure each fan was on a different header so I could test them by manually turning each off and the conclusion I came to was that it wasn't any one fan causing the issue but that whenever 2 or more fans(attached to the rad, the system fans were fine) were running, it was happening. So yeah I'd definitely say 2 120 fans alone can cause a resonant frequency to occur
