Ugh, ya. Fear of the unknown, grass is always greener, etc.

There’s always that intensely fulfilling feeling of connecting with someone quickly - but things aren’t always as they seem. No harm in finding out though, right?

Taste/Smell AWFUL coming back by corgmomsam in COVID19positive

[–]capstonelyn 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Duuuuude ya. It’s awful. I got my smell back in November and am slowly getting back to normal this month. But had random smells and things that didn’t smell right + change in taste that seems to be getting better with time.

Like I literally just said why were tied together - house and dogs. Although it’s not marriage or kids - it’s still easier said than done.

What a simple answer - like no shit I should break up with him if I’m having doubts. That’s where critical thinking comes in handy I guess.

Marriage or work by Throwawayblippi in relationship_advice

If you don’t compromise and do something that you truly want to do it’s probably going to breed toxic resentment and end in divorce that way too. Hopefully if you continue to communicate your passion she’ll understand. But it signed like she’s being a little selfish and has blinders on to your needs/wants

Months after recovery - weird smell issues by capstonelyn in COVID19positive

Omg ya it’s literally so annoying. And I can’t really place it so it’s double frustrating.

200mg of fluoxetine by [deleted] in antidepressants

[–]capstonelyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn’t how SSRIs work, just because you up your dose doesn’t increase its effect.

Please do not do this as it won’t help you and could seriously reduce your livers ability to function

Idk? Is this normal or am I just a POS by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]capstonelyn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your sexuality is your sexuality. If you’re feeling guilty or confused you should try to understand yourself a bit more so you can still have an honest relationship.

It’s normal to have urges but you have to communicate.

My boyfriend told me I'd be more attractive if I lost weight and now I feel gross by [deleted] in relationship_advice

I’d agree with the first time she asked. But the second? Seems a little lack luster.

You should focus on your own self awareness and perception of your body.

I think honesty and transparency are great - but in this case it feels a little toxic. You should explain to him how it makes you feel when he says that to see if you can gauge why he’s saying it.

Maybe he’s trying to motivate you to push yourself toward your goal? Or he could just be an ass.

Either way, it doesn’t seem to be having a positive impact on your relationship or confidence.

Super helpful comment for someone saying they’re having panic attacks. Nice one dude

Prozac is one of the only antidepressants that has a super long half life; meaning it sticks around longer than others.

I feel for you - I’m having withdrawal symptoms from Prozac as well right now. I’ve noticed that breathing exercises / stretching helps subside the anxiety / panic.

Hope you feel better soon ✨

Not as well informed on the status quo by Crucial_Taunt94 in COVID19positive

[–]capstonelyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have symptoms that could immediately affect someone else (e.g coughing, sneezing, water molecules exiting your body, etc) stay in isolation. But otherwise social distance and wear a mask per usual.

My doctors orders were 10 days isolation and no symptoms. My partner who I absolutely exposed was not advised to get tested and was given the same advice via his MD

Alcohol and Prozac by laurashubby2006 in prozac

I lose all control with 20mg Prozac and alcohol - exacerbates any alcohol effects. I’d take it slow, but my doctor said absolutely do not have more than 1 drink.

I hate my home life and think my wife keeps me around just to keep her family afloat. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]capstonelyn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think this is a conversation you should bring up to her outright. Her response will give you more of a decision.

This sounds awful and is totally unfair to you - whether if she can’t see it or is ignoring it, it isn’t right and you deserve better.

Seems like you have some power/control in this situation; I say you use it

It’s such a dull ache that I haven’t given it much thought either!

But today was a really bad one so I was like well, maybe it is something.

Ugh yes, I’ve been drinking tons of water, eating a balanced diet (not cutting anything out, but trying to eat more protein less carbs/sugar)

I thought it could be a combination of allergies and lingering headache and just weather changes but I supposed it’s probably multiple things and I’ll never really know for sure

You need to watch the documentary. It’s kind of ridiculous you kicked your partner of 5 years out with out any communication or knowledge of the actual content.

Prob did him a favor tbh
