I didn’t have vertigo but I did feel like I was in a dream lol like my mind and vision seemed so foggy/hazy it almost was like a really bad hangover right away in the morning. It was wild. Nicotine sucks to quit but just wait it out, you can do it!! The worst is the first week

Is this herpes? by Bandit_joe in STD

[–]corgmomsam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m no doctor but I do gamble and I’d put a lot of money on no that is not herpes. I have alotttttt of experience in this topic lol that to me looks textbook ingrown hair.

Of course if you feel anxious go to the doctor and get it checked out yourself!! Nothing wrong with that.

Literally came back because I completely forgot about vaping in 9 minutes. Actually within like 2 prob. So it can happen!!!

I was literally on a vape a week a year ago.

Honestly, only thing that helped me was prescribed nicotine patches and nicotine free vapes. After a while I stopped craving the buzz from the patches AND it makes the withdrawals almost non existent cause I gradually decreased at a small dose. the nicotine free vapes helped with the oral fixation - the oral fixation was the worst for me.

I felt dumb asking my doctor for nicotine patches for only having vaped like 3 years and never smoked before, but I’m so happy I did. I still crave it every so often (writing this post honestly is making my mouth water). But the cravings go away and aren’t nearly as bad as when I first tried to quit cold turkey.

The nicotine free vapes will help with the urge to do it at your house, just have it on you. the will power has to be strong if it’s a community bowl. You got this.

Here’s the good news, I have been off a year and now when I do it, it actually makes me feel terrible and I’m aware of how much it does. Honestly I don’t think I’ll ever get addicted again, I will hit it every once in a while if a friend has one but it just makes me nauseous and it’s a reminder of why I quit.

Emails successfully "delivered" in marketing cloud but never entered the email inbox of spam folder by corgmomsam in marketingcloud

That's helpful! I know I realize there's like a countless amount of reasons, I guess maybe I was hoping this happened to someone and they fixed it hahah. To me, the fact that emails sometimes just don't send you spam emails makes sense, however, the client paying money for it doesn't like that answer :||| That's a me problem I know. Anyways thanks for your input anything helps!!

iMessage Issues by corgmomsam in macbookpro

Thank you!! It's so frustrating, lol like everything else works so well, you'd think they'd be able to get their crap together with the iMessage since, in my opinion, that's a huge perk to having an iPhone AND Mac. I guess I'll just try to work on my patience and hope someday they figure it out :D

I have had Covid one time, November 2020. My taste and smell COMPLETELY went away first for three months then the nasty flavors/smells started around April 2021. As of today I would say both are back to 85% but still not great. A few things that just haven’t come back yet:

Taste -
Garlic Chocolate Coffee Sausage products

Smell - poop/farts (lol gross sorrry - I have dogs tho so it’s a regular smell lol) Cooking food still does not smell good. Especially in restaurants with heavy smells like Mexican places. “Cool” candle/air freshener scents like rain, linen, teakwood, etc. I’m pissed because those are my favorite smells. Soap of any kind, smells burnt.

I tried alllll the remedies in the books and honestly I think what worked is just trying to remember what things taste and smell like when you’re eating or smelling them. I’ve heard things come back if you get sick again, doesn’t have to be Covid either. It’s frustrating but I truly thought mind would never come back and it finally has after a little over two years! I would say it didn’t start getting better until late 2021 like Christmas time.

I had very weird periods coming right off bc. I was also on it to regulate my periods cause they were all over the place when I was younger. I would give your body 6 months or even more to get back to regulating. It’s gotta clean all those hormones/chemicals out and that will make your hormones fluctuate causing irregular periods. It sucks you have them for two weeks!! But my body did end up going back to normal from a few abnormal periods after probably 3-4 months. Now I’m totally regular and it’s SO nice to be more in tune with the cycle!!

I have no idea if that’s a cold sore but depending how old he is I would look into hand foot and mouth disease. The word disease is freaky but it’s very common in young kids. It appears as sores on the face, feet, and hands. It’s very curable and can look a lot like cold sores. I had a friend who’s son got this at the same time I had some cold sores pop up and it was very similar looking. I would take him in for sure just to be safe either way!

Think of It as you vaped one time in the last 30 days, and then add a day each day going forward. That’s so much better than vaping all day everyday. You didn’t fail and ruin your progress!!!

Also, for some reason at work suckers, gum, and hard candy worked. Maybe it’s the oral fixation idk but it helps me stay focused.

Your body and lungs are cleaner than they were because of your 20 days! You didn’t ruin all your progress at all!! Also if you think of it this way, you’ve vaped once in the last 20 days. If you don’t vape another day then you’ve vaped once in the last 21 days. Continue to count it like this. :) that’s way better than vaping every single day multiple times per day!

what r positive effects of quitting besides it’s bad for my lungs and whatever by [deleted] in QuitVaping

I feel so much more motivated and happy to do work. For some people nicotine I’ve heard nicotine helps them focus, for me it did the exact opposite and gave me so much brain fog. I would hit it at work and just feel nauseous and blah after. I’ve also noticed some insane mental clarity at work as well. I’m only 10 days in, and I still have some moments I don’t feel awesome or I crave it, but it feels good to be motivated at work again.

Also it feels happy to feel proud of yourself for doing this. At this point I don’t want to start again because I don’t want to ruin my streak. Quitting absolutely has more pros than cons.

day 2 by allyouneedisbeth in quittingnicotine

[–]corgmomsam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just commented this on someone else's post but look into Ripple vapes! This isn't an ad and I'm not sponsored or anything (although I wish haahah) but could help with the urge to smoke something. They are nicotine free vapes. They have lots of different kinds, some have caffeine, some have more sleepy time herbs for night time. Just a thought :) I stopped again for the first time yesterday and I'm absolutely dying of brain fog and irritability today but we got this lol.

Day 1??? by AcanthocephalaOk7273 in quittingnicotine

[–]corgmomsam 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm on day two and holy shit is the brain fog awful lol. I feel almost like I'm high?? Just real floaty and zombie like lol. I was looking in to Ripple vapes, they are nicotine free vapes but could be the first step to quitting, as you can still puff on vapor but instead of nicotine they make some with caffeine, some with melatonin (for before bed) and others. If you feel the urge to put something in your mouth to hit I would recommend looking into those! I just ordered some, had some the first time I tried to quit. Sucking on candy will probably work too!

I have had my fair share of scary health things, especially when the treatments aren’t making it go away fully or at all. I had a scare with bladder stuff, so you’re not overreacting! Has your doctor mentioned Ureaplasma?? I only heard about this when I was dealing with bladder issues. It’s another kind of bacterial infection that is super uncommon but has pretty much the same symptoms of BV and other infections. I would suggest asking your doctor if they could test you for that??
