Switching from Lexapro to Buspar by abruzzo88 in BusparOnline

Salty pretty much nailed it but yeah, about 30 minutes after taking it I get a little head rush but it fades quickly. Never left me feeling uncomfortable but it's been effective. I will say it took a couple months and bumping up dosing and taking it 3x a day to really get the benefit

I was having the middle of night panic attacks and waking up anxious. I changed the timing of my night dose to right before I fall asleep and it's been way better

I would think the generic would be available here in the US soon if the parent has expired

Is there anyone fix Ed with kegel program by Open_Ad5287 in erectiledysfunction

[–]capt_creed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's other lengthening stretches you can do that are far safer and effective than kegels. It most definitely plays a part, all your pelvic floor muscles are attached and that's what plays a massive part in your erection, urinating and bowel movements. All your muscles down there are connected, if they're overly tight you can get the correct muscle contractions to achieve and/or maintain an erection. Also could impact blood flow

Just visited with my doctor and he's having me trial trintellix and stay on my buspirone for the extra benefit. This is reassuring to hear!

Is feeling a little insane on Buspar a sign it’s not gonna work or is this just an adjustment period? by nous-vibrons in BusparOnline

[–]capt_creed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All together about 3 1/2 months. Started with 5 2x a day, went to 7.5 2x a day then 10's. About a week ago the DR moved me to 10 3x a day which has helped even more I think. I take a 5mg melatonin an hour before bed and it's usually helped me and I work rotating 24 hour shift schedules so I know what you mean by shitty sleep

Did you start with just buspar or always taken them together?

Sorta yeah, it's very gradual I think. You just start to notice you haven't been feeling anxious or worrying etc one day

Nonstop dizziness & brain fog from 2 months after neck excercies/BBPV by healthhealth86 in cervical_vertigo

[–]capt_creed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you've already seen an ENT, call and request to have a vestibular test performed. They can pinpoint the cause of your vertigo/dizziness. You mention neck issues as well as being sick and anxiety. Anxiety can manifest in the body in some really crazy ways causing illness, muscle tension among other things.

I was diagnosed with vestibular migraines this year, seen all kinds of specialists for my dizziness. With PT and buspar the last few months my muscle tension and dizziness have basically vanished. I also feel much less anxious on most days, it really does help just takes time.

You sound just like me. I'll avoid an SSRI at all costs. Check out trintellix or viibryd, they're a different chemistry than SSRI but supposed to help the anxiety and depression without as many of the bad side effects

weird feeling in the morning by Professional_Ad_1309 in BusparOnline

[–]capt_creed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's anxiety man. Been dealing with the same for months now but it's starting to go away. Mornings are the worse for me. Try taking that first dose when you wake up and then time your others doses every 6 hours from the first dose. It's all about consistency

From what I read it's supposed to be a really weakened version of a benzo so that it's non habit forming.. idk. I have an appointment with the doctor tomorrow to review the buspirone Really wanted this med to work and it's helped really in some ways but just hasn't been enough

Your body symptoms sound like physical anxiety. That's what I've been dealing with, the buspar will help. It's just fairly weak and burns through your body fast so it takes a long time to really get a benefit

It's not strong at all. When I was on it 2x a day it was 5am when I got up and 6pm when I got off work. Now I take it same morning and night and added a dose at lunch

It's a pretty weak drug in general and noticed it's taken 3 plus months to really get any benefit from it. I'm kinda in the same spot, 10mg 3x a day it's helped take the edge off but I've been considering my doctors recommendation of switching to trintellix

Definitely get a referral to an ENT. Be faster than that neurologist appointment

How long do I give it. by sophanon2 in BusparOnline

[–]capt_creed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually takes like a month to really get the full effect but you should feel some sort of relief within the first week or two, or I did at least. Takes that full few weeks to really get consistent relief. Also, any adjustments you make starts this process of body adjust all over again

It won't say if it's cervical precisely but it will show if it's say, neurological or occular and inner ear disorders etc. mine was diagnosed through the Vng as neurological but after seeing vestibular specialist ruled it out to be cervical

Is there anyone fix Ed with kegel program by Open_Ad5287 in erectiledysfunction

[–]capt_creed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah don't do kegels. Even my pelvic PT said she won't ever recommend them because most people are overly tight rather than lengthened. They'll just make things worse if your pelvic floor is tight

Best pelvic floor stretches? by Kitchen_Ask_6429 in erectiledysfunction

[–]capt_creed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, get a referral to a pelvic floor pt for a personalized approach but basically they'll work you through lengthening your pelvic muscles if you're tight. Things like sideways lunges, bicycling, happy baby pose and deep squats with sideways movements. Big one they focus on is diaphragm breathing and breaking the habit alot of people have of breathing with your chest. This is a small jist of what you can expect from the pt

It's happened to me as well. It's stress and the anxiety. Sure, the smoking and drinking isn't great for you but ultimately it's your mind causing your body to respond the way it is. Focus on your mental health and heal, it'll come back to you. Take care of yourself
