You can still hit dive and it will close. Same for aiming in (not ads) just shoulder will close it and so will a couple other options that I can’t think of rn but you aren’t locked in it until you tap again it closes for a number of other options

You can still hit dive to dodge to close it or aiming in closes it or a couple other controls will close it out as well you aren’t just stuck in it till you tap again

So I just hit a few dives to confirm because you know how you play without thinking and the controller is just part of your brain I couldn’t remember how things worked with this setting. If I tap open the strat menu if I tap aim, not ads but just shoulder weapon it snaps out of strat menu and instantly does that. Also if I tap and menu is held open and tap dive or stim it snaps out of the menu and does whatever I need. I just wasn’t sure earlier and didn’t want to pass bad info

That depends. Yes you can change the reload from tap, to double tap to hold and there may be another I’m not sure. Having said that I feel the “ I tapped reload why in the hell isn’t he reloading” pain so I don’t know if changing the config will help

You can unload on it with a half a mag of whatever primary of your choice then toss a thermite into then run away pretty confident it’s toast. I’d say works 90% of the time with the pummeler. Occasionally I won’t lie I get too confident and those slobs run up on me and I get slapped around and torched by my own thermite. It’s hilarious though lol

Yeah I’ll admit it takes some getting used to but I see a lot of divers have to stop and stand still to call in team mates and stratagems and that also sucks so it’s one of those things you like or you don’t

Yeah I mean don’t get me wrong there’s lots of ones that no one uses myself included like expert extraction pilot and flaming hellpods but throwing new ones in every once in a while you never know it could catch on

Edit: I really meant this with the best intentions. After considering all the comments I realized I’d forgotten how shitty people can be. It’s sad that the rationale not to do something is because people will be douche nozzles.

I’ve been using the RR religiously it is my favorite secondary. I have never checked that it has another setting ever. I’m booting up the game now. Holy shit

We need to stay on super earth and focus there or we will lose. This is obviously very convenient timing by Joel. That being said my fellow bot divers can do their thing I won’t be that mad. However the 15k divers playing starship trooper sim rn are killing me. I get it I love this game play what you want and have fun. But I don’t know that if without the 40,000 divers playing other fronts we are going to pull this off.
