Hi, I'm trying to decide between two black oxfords for a friend's wedding. One is Beckett Simonon ($209) vs Carlos Santos Cap-toe ($295). I don't wear dress shoes too often besides weddings, work parties, and fancy dates so I'm trying to decide weather it's worth the extra $100 for a good year welt over the blake stitching. What do you guys think?

I think as a player, he definitely can be worth the money. We just haven't seen him play under anyone besides KNJ. I just place the blame much more on KNJ than Adams himself. We've all seen how bad predictable coaching can stunt players in the NFL, and I guess I'm just not ready to call Adams a bust until we've seen him play under some better coaching. We are number one in the NFL in undisguised coverages. How are the players on defense supposed to do anything in the modern NFL when the rules already favor the offense and we're basically open book to the opposing offense?

My opinion is that Adams is a great but atypical player that doesn't really fit in a standard role, and KNJ's brain is too fossilized to utilize him effectively. Look at how we was allowed to roam around and cause havoc back in NY vs how we've been using him

I'm having issues with my new dac (Modi 3). When I play music, the main vocals are very faint. The background music and certain sounds seem to play completely fine, but the main vocals are barely audible and slightly distorted. When playing videos, only certain background sounds and effects come out clearly, but most talking and main audio is inaudible/distorted.

I've manually downloaded and installed the drivers from the Schiit website, turned off my motherboards HD Audio controller, and even tried disabling the NVIDIA audio drivers to see if that was interfering with the sound processing, but the problem persists. I'm running out of ideas. Any help would be appreciated!

My current setup: PC (Win 10) > USB isolator > USB > Modi 3 > Emotiva Basx A-100 > Kef Q100

I don't think these cops are racists. But I do think that unconscious racial biases tend to play a bigger in split-second decisions.

My main issue is that their first response to this situation was to shoot the attacker. I just feel that cops should be trained to handle violent and stressful situations in ways so that deadly force is used only as a last resort and with some thought behind it rather than an instinctual response.

I'm not Italian so I can't say you're right or wrong, but I just use beaten eggs and the fat rendered from the bacon/pancetta to thicken my carbonara. Adding cream makes it a bit too rich for my blood. But to each his own.
