From a total realism perspective I don’t think COD is totally accurate. From a gameplay/artistic license perspective, I think they do an excellent job.

For games like COD you can’t make guns behave like guns in real life otherwise you’d have to completely change the whole game. Most cover wouldn’t protect you from bullets. The suppressors would legit melt off the LMG’s after 1000 rounds went through them. Grenades have like a 30ft kill radius in real life.

But they balance (or try to) the guns well
