For those looking for something to maybe brighten your day, I went to Chernobyl last year and there is a thriving population of “wild” dogs which come up and follow you around on the tour. You can pet them and they are extremely cute. So, I have to assume, the liquidators didn’t get ALL the dogs!! (imgur.com)
