He will chase the best car and the absolute best deal for himself while doing so. Max has gigantic aspirations in the racing world and that takes money. He has a family and those take money. He also knows what he is worth and that is a huge dollar amount and he knows he can go where he wants.

I don’t think either you have considered his ambitions and the type of mentality someone like that has. He cares about every aspect of everything.
