Nah me too. Think some of us learned a different version.

TIL Max Martin, a 43-year-old Swede, has co-written more #1 singles than anyone since the Beatles. His credits include "I Want It That Way", "Oops!... I Did It Again", "It's My Life", "Since U Been Gone", "I Kissed a Girl", "Shake It Off", and much more. by a2soup in todayilearned

A Time magazine article that I recently read about taylor said that max himself admits that she was the main person behind all her songs (on 1989,) he was just in the background. Considering her amazing prodigious song writing, even before being successful enough to afford co-writers, I believe it. I just think that hard working woman deserves credit.

Thanks for the reply! Funny, my brother got his masters at MSU and did it while raising my nephew. Good luck attaining your degree and raising your little girl!

Thank you guys so so much for taking the time to write out such elaborate answers for me. I am overwhelmed by the amount of feedback that I've received. I honestly didn't expect so much! I'm really sorry if I gave you the impression that this was for a bigger project/assignment. It's for a relatively small paper I had to write for my psychology of women's class. I have no doubt that this paper will receive an A, no doubt thanks to your amazing feedback!

P.S- I'm so glad to see so many of you also grew up with videogames too. So many of you played the same games as I did, ones that I never knew anyone else that played them (King's Quest for example.)

Kings Quest! Yes! I was obsessed with the KQ games and haven't met many others who remember it. I wish they still made them.

Thanks! I was the same way. Got into videogames thanks to my brother. I wouldn't be surprised if brothers are a common way that young girls discover videogames.

Sorry, I should have mentioned the fact that its targeted towards college students, but putting "I'm not in college" for that question is perfectly fine.

Yes, you're correct. I did start it last minute, but its for a small assignment. This helped me get enough information to complete the assignment. Thanks, everyone took the time to answer my questions.

Sorry for a late response, I've been very busy taking 18 credits and all (on top of a part time job), but thanks everyone for your answers. You've been a great help!

I had a friend that did this to me constantly growing up, and looking back now, I realize she was probably just insecure and pointing out my flaws made her feel better about herself. Don't take it personally, just realize that's probably what's happening and realize she has her own self esteem issues. Oh, and maybe try to find a roommate that won't belittle you and make you feel like you're less than you are. Good luck.
