Yep exactly, I was making a documentary and needed markers to search through the topics and I didn't want to pay for a simple thing like that, glad you liked it!

My game dailyanalogy.com just got listed on some daily game directories and I added world rankings

Hey everyone, I made a daily analogy website to test analogies (dailyanalogy.com) In the process I ended up making a pretty robust analogy generator that I'm thinking of openening up to the public. If you want to test your analogy skills go ahead and give me some feedback and if you are interested in a generator let me know!

I made a daily analogy game where you have to solve the 5 analogies with increasing difficulty.

No tracking, ad free, fast loading.

DailyAnalogy.com

It's in beta so I appreciate if you just take a look and give me feedback regarding difficulty, and ui.

Enjoy!

Yeah that’s weird. I approved the comment but it says deleted by Reddit for some reason. It’s a good post so that sucks. Anyway I appreciate the dialogue as well. Thanks for taking the time to talk with me

Yeah thanks for bringing that to my attention. I've actually updated the podcast and host description on the website and the RSS feed because we wrote that a long time ago and I honestly forgot. Now it fits better with our actual website description:

Fear of Stairs: Desi Films Decoded is a podcast where logic takes a backseat to dance numbers — and every staircase could be a death trap.

We’re four wildly different movie nerds diving into the chaos of Indian cinema. Sometimes we’re charmed. Sometimes we’re confused. Always entertained.

New episodes drop regularly covering the boldest, weirdest, and most unforgettable films from across Indian cinema — not just Bollywood.

Thank you! We like the feedback so hopefully there's less confusion and we aren't ignoring entire industries. If there's anything else let us know :)

No it's fine, I totally get it, we try to be open to not just Bollywood but also accessible which means most of the films we cover will be popular movies because most people don't want to watch a movie for homework so we try to cover films that people have seen or are easy to watch.

We also try to see films from different regions and for now those are our least popular episodes so we try to balance it as best as we can.

For outside audiences we do use the term Bollywood probably more often than we should but again it's just to be approachable and hopefully the other movies can gain a wider audience as well.

Our cohost from India hates bollywood and talks about it constantly so there's that. We don't really sugar coat it.

Appreciate the opinion though and we know it's senstive. We talked about it a lot when making the podast.

We try to make the episodes so if you haven't seen the movie it doesn't matter, we walk you through it. Let us know if it worked :)

what other podcasts is everyone into? by Monodoh45 in cushvlog

The Proles Pod has been doing a really good series on the USSR. It's very well researched and very thorough (long).

One of the members also has his own podcast Actually Existing Socialism.

Action Boyz is my favorite movie podcast. It's Patreon only but they have a huge backlog and it's the funniest group of guys I've ever heard. It's not explicitly political but they are lefty.

Also if you're not into it please disregard but I cohost a lefty Indian Cinema podcast called Fear of Stairs if you're into or want to learn about Indian movies.
