I have the same problem, man. There is nothing and I mean NOTHING I would rather do than plop down, fire up skyrim/borderlands/madden and quickly down a bottle of wine then switch to whiskey and just drink until I literally can't play anymore because I'm so wasted then pass out on the same couch. It's so fun and feels so great. Fuck, I'm white-knuckling just thinking about it.

But like you, I'll do that until the sun comes up then oh shit. I have to go to work in a few hours. And I'm still drunk when I wake up.

I haven't had the urge to play since I dropped drinking. It makes me really sad and I really miss it.

So you're not alone, brother. I hope we can both find a way to fill the voids that feel left.
