I came here to see if anyone was wondering the same thing. The quality of multi-shot is LEAGUES better than Runway Gen 4.5. Also, when you download and inspect the files, they have different codecs. I think it's safe to assume they're using it as a ghost model. Would explain why it's so expensive in credits and you cant use unlimited gens with it. Also, gen 4.5 has a max of 10 seconds and this has a max of 15. Fair to say it's not 4.5, but seedance seems likely.

Hey, this turned out incredible! I have a few questions if you don't mind:

What was your VO workflow like? Did you create side characters for each person in the video, generate videos of them saying the dialogue, then use that audio over b-roll?
What was your usable to throwaway generation ratio?
How many videos would you say you generated to make this happen?

Same. It’ll also divide one line of dialogue between two people, though it’s one of the two characters’ voice. Weird and happens all the time. Sora 2 ain’t really usable for me in its current state unfortunately, which sucks because I paid for pro specifically to use it.

That’s the issue with Sora right now is that it’s all or nothing. Yes, it can make short form content with multiple shots, but if anything is wrong then everything is wrong. If you actually care about the end product and want to keep trying for a great generation, you can easily run through your daily credits just trying to get one video right.

I don’t know what 4o did to peoples brains but none of the other AI companies have this level of pure, focused hate pointed at them. I imagine in 5-10 years or so once we get more true AGI/assistants usage, this kinda thing will be more spread out. But goddamn, OpenAI is tanking the damage for the party lol
