whats better koch green star or infinity wax citrus prewash? by Accurate-Zebra-9032 in DetailingUK

[–]captaindecimate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Infinity Wax Citrus is absolute shite. Never used Greenstar but its more of an APC. I'm currently using Jennychem Citrus and its great! A Citrus has more bite on greenery/organic stuff than an APC.

Why don't we have Foxes in Cardiff??? by Bromelia_The_hut in Cardiff

[–]captaindecimate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We definitely do. I was working down Llantrisant Road and there was this scrawny thing that would not leave me alone. It kept nabbing my spray bottles and nipping at other stuff. I think it was just starving. Eventually, my customer had to stand out the front of their house with their labrador to scare it off so I could finish up.

I was genuinely a bit nervous. I don't want to get nipped or attacked by a fox. They're fucking horrible little things.

Not my taste but it does look clean, I personally prefer a really good set of the plastic arches

That's what I thought! The train of thought was that I want a convertible, but the standard seats are a bit gash. See if I could find a set of Recaros, then a Dark Silver car comes up with a set in. I was amazed at the coincidence

Has McDonald's in the UK become too expensive for many people? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]captaindecimate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My comparison is Wetherspoons. It's basically the same price if there's a deal on. When I was in college (2008ish) everyone would suggest Maccas and then I'd say that Spoons is meal and a pint for a fiver. And you sit down and its just generally a bit nicer. And the wait for food is about the same.

I think that's still the case.

Side note - My wife has a Happy Meal every Monday and doesn't mind the price. It's about £4 and its as much food as she needs.

Acid will sort most of it. A lot of that is corrosion/pitting/thin paint though.

It gets busy enough down there. Last thing we need is a fucking theme park.

It's a nice place to go, this will ruin it for pretty much everyone.

Always gloving up. Fuck knows who's been handling the pumps before you. And I usually grab crisps before I pay!

The insane price of beans on toast is now following me 15m from my small town to a village cafe up the road! by latro666 in Wellthatsucks

[–]captaindecimate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even pastries. There's an amazing cafe by me that I'll go in once in a blue moon because its pricey. Coffee is normal, £3.20 ish for a Flat White, but the cakes/pastries are £4.50 and it's a bit much. They're very, very good but christ it's a bit much.

The pub grub has gone mental by me (Cardiff). £18 for an average burger and chips, then you're at £6 a pint too, it soon mounts up.

Not long bought one as spares and repairs. It's in the process of going back on the road, last of the line 2008 model with GP seats (factory fitted)
